There are many reasons to choose to walk to school. Children will have the opportunity to get regular exercise, acquire personal skills in orientation and dealing with traffic, and can make friends with peers. In addition, every stretch walked will help reduce traffic around the school, noise andatmospheric pollution to the benefit of all.”

“The Pedibus Week," explains Councillor Luca Lettieri - will be useful for us to test the service of accompanying children to school, which we hope to activate for the 2014/1015 school year. The recruitment of volunteers Has already started. We are involving association volunteers present in the territory, parents and grandparents. We renew our invitation to join the initiative. to all those who care about the environment and the quality of life in our city. You can give your availability at the Municipal Police Headquarters.

We believe that the project can activate a path of education in responsible behavior, involving children and adults on the issues of environmental protection and traffic education.”
