Monday, December 30, a Loano, the Loanese Cinema Theater will host the big gospel concert, organized by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
At 9 p.m., training The Pilgrim Gospel Choir, with the extraordinary participation of the two American singers Jennifer Vargas e Leslie Sackey, will perform a musical program that will engage the audience with the rhythm and energy of black African-American music.
From a cappella repertoire (spirituals) to a musical crescendo, from structurally simpler songs (typical work song structures) to more complex and rhythmic pieces, the path will lead to gospel, accompanied by the band of musicians. The program will be enriched by pieces of pop and ethnic music revisited in a gospel key.
The concert will feature the extraordinary participation of two American gospel talents: Jennifer Vargas performer of the all-female vocal group “Dynamo” and Leslie Sackey, performer of the famous gospel group “Cheryl Porter & Halleluiah Gospel Singers.”.
