Saturday, December 7, a Loano will kick off “Heavenly Musings”, the review promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano which will accompany the Christmas holidays with concerts in churches and oratories.
At 9 p.m., in the St. Pius X Church, inaugurating the musical journey to the sacred places of the city, will be the formation Briozzo Duet accompanied by Mistralia Quartet.
“Singing to Mary” is the title of the concert dedicated to the feast of the Immaculate Conception. The best-known sacred pieces by such composers as. J. Massenet, F. Schubert, M. Frisina, A. Vivaldi, C. Gounod dedicated to the figure of the Virgin Mary, classic traditional Christmas carols such as Cantique de Noel, Silent Night, Goin’ Home, Amazing Grace and exciting instrumental pieces arranged and revisited by ensemble members with folkloric repertoire from different European cultural traditions.
Performing the concert will be Melissa Briozzo (Soprano) and Simona Briozzo (Soprano) accompanied by the musical ensemble consisting of. Luca Sciri (Clarinet), Michele Menardi Noguera (Flute), Luke Soi (Violin and Viola) and Leonardo Ferretti (Piano).
Sunday, December 8, to the 6 p.m, the review will move to the S.M. Church.Immaculate where he will hold the concert by Claudia Murachelli (Celtic voice and harp) and Paola Arecco (piano).
UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS....

The Dec. 21 Paola Arecco will return to perform, at 6 p.m., in the Church of the Visitation in Corso Europa and the duo Privitera– Minutes will again cachate the stage of the Celestial Music the December 26, to the 4:30 pm, at Mount Carmel Church.
The review will close on January 5 at 9 p.m., in the Church of St. Augustine, with the concert “Great music in church by candlelight” with the soprano Angelica Cirillo.
The Dec. 28, at 9 p.m., in the Parish San John the Baptist, on the occasion of the Day dhe Family, will welcome the concert of the Interparish Choir.
L’Oratory Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, will host the January 5, to the 5 p.m., the last concert of the review “The Concerts of the Turchins - Music of the Soul” 2013.. The evening's program is dedicated to the Vespers of the Blessed Virgin for five voices concerted in the organ with music by Claudio Monteverdi and other Venetian composers.{:}
