Thursday, September 5, resume, after the summer break, the walks of Loano not only sea, curated by the Loanese Section of the C.A.I.. with the contribution and sponsorship of the Municipality of Loano.
Arrived at the nineteenth edition Loano not only sea, offers once a week an excursion to discover the beautiful Ligurian landscape. The variety of proposed itineraries will offer the opportunity to get to know environmental richness and historical and architectural heritage, that characterizes the hinterland.
The walks led by members of the Loanese Section of C.A.I are totally free of charge and can be enjoyed by everyone, at any age.
The rendezvous point è Italian Alpine Club square, near the level crossing of the Pentagonal Tower. Participants of the walks will be found without prior notice, possibly with their own cars at the indicated time.
Accident insurance is compulsory, which for non-members of C.A.I. is euro 7.00, to be taken out by calling Laura Panicucci (tel. 019 672366 cell. 3497854220-if absent tel. to Angela Pisoni cell. 3487244320).
Thursday, September 5 the program offers the hike on the Melogno Hill, along a semi-loop trail that will touch the beautiful beech forest of the Barbottina to reach the Bric Agnellino (m. 1335). From here, the return route will touch the wide basin of Case Catalano, bringing the group back to the starting point.
The travel time of the itinerary is. four and a half hours. Departure is at 8:30 a.m..
The following Thursday, the September 12 excursion will be proposed to the Mount Armetta (d. 1739), the September 19 is planned to hike “Mountains seen from the sea.” or the motorboat trip that skirts the Savona-Andora coastline and the September 26 you can participate in the walk at the Our Lady of the Guard of Alassio (m.586).
At October, the proposed trips will have the following destinations: the 3, Mount Camulera (m.1224), the 10, Mount Spinarda (d.1357), the 17, the Salt Road along the Lerrone River, the 24, San Pietro in Varatella. Finally, the October 31 will take place the 21st Ecological Day, a hike involving the cleaning of a trail.
The calendar of November will offer the opportunity to participate in excursions to the Our Lady of the Guard of Chalice (m. 535) the 7, a Castelvecchio di R.B. (m. 442) the 14, a Carpanea Rock (d. 388), the 21 and to theJolly Day the 28 .
Finally, at December three walks are planned: on the Wave Trail (m. 410) the 5, at Mount Cross (m 541) the 12 and to the Pian delle Bosse Refuge (m. 841) the December 19.
