{:en}The Italian Youth Sailing Championships concluded in Marina degli Aregai on August 28, and the Athletes of Circolo Nautico Loano accomplished another memorable feat.

“The entire podium of the Championship has been occupied by the young talents of our Circle. It also happened last year in Cagliari. It seemed to be a unique and unrepeatable event and instead one year later here again is the name of the Loano Sailing Club scanned three times for third, second and first place.
Excitement, joy , almost disbelief, and yet it is true!
A lot of hard work, training, a lot of sacrifices by the youth, Families, and the Circle, gave another great satisfaction.
The Municipality of Loano Who always supports the Club, Marina of Loano for its invaluable support, and all those who in one way or another make this possible.
Andrea Abbruzzese with Tatiana Silvano have dominated the Championship. As many as seven victories out of nine races held testify to their absolute value. Today's victory combined with the triumph at the European Championships closes the experience on the Equipe class for them and opens the way for much more coveted goals. The transition to the larger 420 class will take place soon, and we are confident that they will be able to assert themselves in the challenging new class as well.
Splendid second overall and thus also Italian Women's Champions. Alice Secco with Martina Galvan. Always in the top places, constant and attentive they also completed a Championship at the highest level beating by a whisker Benedetta Barchi with Silvia Leonelli creators also of a capital performance. Not to be forgotten. Benedetta and Silvia have won at the European Championships the silver medal and Alice and Martina bronze one... A splendid rivalry theirs that carried on with great friendship enhances the achievements of the Circle of Loano.
Not to be forgotten, however, are the other two participating Loanese crews.
Agnese Ronco with Ludovica Giusto Bellando, in their first major experience they closed the championship with a very dignified. 19th place and Roberta Armentano with Maddalena Polla, despite three uncontested trials, finished in 26th position.
This further great triumph of Loanese sailing in addition, of course, to gratifying in the best way those who devote so much energy, time, work, we are sure will serve to further increase the sport of Sailing in our District by initiating many girls and young people into a healthy and clean sport.
