Tuesday, August 13, at Loano, the review Culture Tuesday.”, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports e organized by the I.So THeatre, will host at 6:30 p.m., in the Prince's Garden, Patrizia Petruccione with his novel “Kalipygia” (E-Editions).

The meeting with the author, led by Graziella Frasca Gallo will be accompanied by the musical notes by Maestro Roberto Sinito.  Patrizia Petruccione's debut novel, “Kalipygia” is a classic detective story that also delves into interpersonal relationships and human feelings in an intricate interweaving of past and present.

In a windy autumn on the Ligurian Riviera, Commissioner Paola Franchi and piemme Martini investigate the death of a murdered professor and a missing rare orchid. Evidence points to a culprit, but Commissioner Franchi still searches beyond appearances on the streets of Genoa, developing hypotheses, to reconstruct the professor's and the orchid's itinerary.

Patrizia Petruccione was born in 1949 in Genoa, where she spent her childhood and part of her youth. She has lived for many years in the western riviera, first in Alassio, then in Albenga. With a degree in literature, for many years she devoted herself to teaching in high school. Kalipygia is the debut novel for the author known in the Albenga area as a former teacher and former vice principal at Albenga's “G. Bruno” scientific high school.{:}
