They continue to Loano the presales for the greatest musical of all time, Jesus Christ Superstar, scheduled Saturday, Aug. 3, at 9:30 p.m. in the Prince's Garden Summer Arena.
The staging, included in the music program sponsored by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano e organized by the I.So THeatre with the artistic direction of Luca Malvicini is produced by Rockopera.
For the first time in Italy, the show will benefit from the presence of a grand symphony orchestra for a performance that rediscovers the original musical score as it was conceived in the 1970s by the very young Andrew Lloyd Webber.
A philological edition, highlighting the modernity of a work that successfully attempted to combine for the first time cultured music and rock, finally making it “respectable.” The attempt made today is to bring the work back to its nature, highlighting those elements that constituted a perfect mix of sacred and profane, creating a timeless masterpiece.
The staging will feature over 80 artists including musicians, singers and dancers, for a unique and unrepeatable set-up.
