“After two years of interruption due to the health emergency," explains the mayor of Loano Luca Lettieri - back to Loano is the ‘Night in White,’ the total celebration with which our city greets the arrival of the summer season, a season that this year more than ever we hope will be the one of the definitive restart for everyone. The ‘Notte in Bianco’ is one of the most anticipated events on our calendar and always attracts guests from all over Liguria and beyond. Like it or not, thanks to this event every year the city welcomes tens of thousands of guests, with obvious positive repercussions on the entire commercial and economic fabric. This success would not be possible without the important effort put forth by the City Council in synergy with the Loanese Committee and Fipe-Confcommercio and, above all, the collaboration of merchants, associations, law enforcement and the many volunteers who throughout the day will ensure the safety of the public.”.

The councillor for tourism and culture Enrica Rocca adds, “Gastronomy, shopping, and music have always been the ingredients of Loano's ‘White Night.’ A highly successful event that has been one of the staples of the tourist offer of our city and the entire province of Savona for years. The concerts, food and wine tastings and the ‘desbarassu’ through the streets of the historic center make this evening (or rather, night) a celebration capable of pleasing every age group and every type of audience, kids and families, children and adults. There is no better way to kick off the summer season.”.

Daniela Leali, chairman of the Loanese Committee and Fipe-Confcommercio, observes, “After a two-year hiatus, the town's businesses and commercial establishments gladly accepted the usual invitation that came from the municipality and our association and made themselves available to participate in the ‘White Night’ by organizing ‘desbarassu,’ tasting booths or helping to organize musical concerts. All of this was done to offer Loano residents and guests an evening full of fun. This spirit of cooperation is certainly the secret to the success of this event and one of the keys to restarting in the best possible way after a complicated period, to say the least.”.

At 9:30 p.m., the great free concert which constitutes the highlight of the White Night: this year on the stage set up in Italy Square will go up Donatella Rector With its “Summer Tour 2022.”.

As an exception to the Urban Police Regulations, from 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, to 3 a.m. on Sunday, June 26, it will also be possible to consume alcoholic beverages outside of food and beverage establishments. On the other hand, the ban on the sale of beverages and food in containers made of glass, cans or other material other than plastic, cardboard or tetrapaks remains in effect; as stipulated in the current regulations, the sale of alcoholic beverages in containers of any kind by retail establishments (stores, medium-sized sales facilities and artisanal food businesses) is also prohibited from midnight on June 25 to 6 a.m. on June 26; the consumption in public places and on public streets of any beverage and food contained in glass bottles, cans or other materials other than plastic, cardboard or tetrapaks is prohibited.

THE CONCERT.

Recovering from the great success of the last edition of the Sanremo Festival paired with Ditonellapiaga with the song “Chimica,” which also recently won the Platinum Record in the FIMI Classification, and from the theatrical tour, Rettore will reintroduce his big hits. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate 40 years of “Razor blades” and “Kamikaze rock'n'roll suicide.”.

A message of hope and restart after a dark period for all live music, aimed with special attention to the younger generation, just as Rector says: “I want to give moments of lightness by helping the younger generation to live this important phase of their lives, letting off steam through music and togetherness and not through violence.” He adds, “After such a difficult period, in which we all suffered, we have to start again. Those who make music deserve to hear people under the stage who are out of tune, get the words wrong, but they are there ... and they are alive, not behind a screen.” To the many who call Rector an icon, with her trademark humor she replies, “Icons stay on the computer; they would rather call me a legend.” She likes to call herself a “psychedelic poetess.”.

The show aims to become a true celebration of music: there will be no shortage of opportunities for the audience to interact with Rector, singing, dancing and accompanying her with the rhythm of her hands (and more). He declares, “Love and music bring everyone together. We should stop and look for real music, the one that takes us away from the bad news that we are fed daily from television.”.

Rettore is accompanied by her very faithful band: Beatrice Rigillo on sax and vocals, Emanuele Carulli on bass, Ettore Mirabilia on keyboards, Massimo Fumanti on guitar, Valerio Pompei on percussion and Claudio Rego on drums. The image is taken care of by stylist Silvio Luciani. The tour is produced by Joe&Joe.

“DO IT MYSELF,” THE NEW SINGLE BY RECTOR AND TANCREDI.

Last June 10 saw the release of “Faccio da me,” the new single by Rettore, an undisputed icon who has signed (and marked) a piece of Italian music history, and Tancredi, a singer-songwriter, 20 years old, capable of conveying truth and strong emotions in his songs but with attention to an 80s/90s sound, a former competitor of Amici 20. Two generations comparing united by the theme and sound of the song. The song, with the character of disco music, reinterpreted in the present day, is produced by Luca Chiaravalli and Giordano Colombo and is a hymn to emancipation, to the freedom to live sexuality as one sees fit without taboos, expressed with fun and without malice

Curious, restless, ironic, unscrupulous, rebellious, provocative, able to combine pop, rock, disco and even ska sounds, Donatella Rettore or more simply Rettore, is an Italian singer, songwriter and actress. A free spirit who has released in her more than 40-year career 19 albums and sold more than 27 million records worldwide. This year she competed in the Sanremo Festival, together with singer-songwriter Ditonellapiaga with “Chimica” ( Platinum Record). An avant-garde artist with a punk attitude, the first true Italian rocker, her stage performances are total spectacles, her looks have anticipated fashions and have been a source of inspiration for entire generations. An absolute icon of pop culture, she has always been able to reinvent and transform herself, becoming to all intents and purposes a role model for women seeking independence thanks also to the lyrics of her songs, a condensation of double entendres, allusions, provocations, puns and experimentation. With respect to her themes, she is always ahead of her time.

Tancredi, 21, lives in Milan and attended classical high school, but since his school days his greatest passion has been music; in fact, it was during this period that he began writing his first songs. At first he enjoyed composing in rhyme, with time he became more and more familiar with writing until he reached his full identity. He participated in the last edition of Amici20 and released the EP “IRIDE” in May 2021 (over 46 million streams) which contains the single “Las Vegas,” certified Double Platinum with over 40 million streams. His latest album is “Golde Hour” and his single “Islands” is the soundtrack of the new Netflix TV series “Di4ri.”.
