{:en}Loano. Scheduled for Aug. 10 in Loano's Piazza Italia is the one and only Ligurian summer leg of ’8 Tour,“ Subsonica's big tour. The event is part of the ”Dreams Festival,“ the series of major events promoted by the Tourism, Culture and Sports Department of the Municipality of Loano and curated by Dimensione Eventi.
Coming back from the exciting tour with which, in February, they moved and danced the fans overwhelming them with their incredible energy, now Samuel, Max Casacci, Boosta, Ninja and Vicio have decided to launch their latest work by “diving” into an enthralling summer tour up and down the peninsula.
October 2018 saw the release of “8” (Sony Music), the band's highly anticipated new album, which after four years presents a work of unreleased songs, anticipated by the single “Bottiglie Rotte.”.
“8” is the eighth album by a band that, while continuing to evolve in its approach to music and never ceasing to experiment, has managed to engage an ever-widening audience. “8” is a stylization of time spinning upon itself, it is a representation of infinity, it is an opportunity to redefine a starting point after individual breaks, starting again from where it all began. But it is also and above all an album of careful reflection on the present time.
After kicking off the summer tour with the first 8 explosive live shows, “8 Tour” is coming to Loano for an unmissable concert in the square
“Subsonica,” explains Loano Mayor Luigi Pignocca, "have been one of the most appreciated bands on the Italian and international scene for more than 20 years. Thanks to the always excellent collaboration with Dimensione Eventi, we managed to make sure that this year the summer tour of the group led by Samuel will also stop in Loano, with a big concert for which up to 4 thousand people are expected. For the city it will be an unprecedented event and certainly one of the most anticipated events of the entire summer season in our province. Anticipation is already through the roof.".
“The Turin-based band,‘ adds Tourism, Culture and Sports Councillor Remo Zaccaria, ’has fans of all ages: the young people who listened to them in their early days are now parents of kids who are themselves fans of the same rock-electronic sounds. People of all ages, therefore, will gather in Piazza Italia, certainly from outside the city and the province. Another great event of the Loano ”tourist village' able to please all kinds of tastes.".
Dimensione Eventi adds, “It will be a spectacular concert, an unforgettable family-friendly evening. In fact, on the evening of the show a child under 12 will be able to enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult.”.
Tickets are on sale with the Ticket One circuit (online at www.ticketone.it and in all affiliated outlets), as well as at Mondadori in Via Garibaldi 150). The organization is also activating additional presales in the city to make it even easier to find a ticket to the concert.
Please note: Vertigo concert tickets are on sale exclusively on the Ticketone circuit. Any coupons on sale on other circuits are not authorized and therefore management reserves the right to deny access
