{:en}It is titled “Loano Solidale Live Show” and will feature Lovran's stars of the show the third edition of the now traditional “solidarity party” promoted by the City of Loano in collaboration with local associations. The event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22 and, once again, will have as its primary purpose the collection of funds to be donated to Visso, the town in the province of Macerata hard hit by the earthquake that struck central Italy in August 2016.
“Once again this year,‘ explain Mayor Luigi Pignocca and Tourism, Culture and Sports Councillor Remo Zaccaria, ’we decided to promote a day of gastronomy and solidarity to help our friends in Visso. The two previous editions of ”Add a place at the table' allowed us to collect more than 23 thousand euros. These funds were used to finance the purchase of a bus to transport dialysis and disabled patients. The vehicle, delivered last May, has gone to enrich the fleet of vehicles available to the Visso Italian Red Cross committee.".
“Unfortunately, in recent weeks our region has also been severely affected by a violent natural phenomenon. At the end of October, Liguria had to reckon with a very intense disturbance that, in the worst cases, caused damage amounting to several million euros. As always in such cases, part of the inconveniences were mitigated by the great work carried out by the civil defense, public assistance and the many volunteer associations in the area. This year, therefore, we decided to make a different choice: in agreement with the Municipality of Visso, we decided to allocate part of the proceeds of the solidarity party to the purchase of materials and equipment for the inter-municipal civil protection group of Boissano, Toirano and Loano.”.
“During emergencies, civil defense volunteers are always the first to intervene and the last to leave, working with commitment and self-sacrifice for the good of the whole community without asking for anything in return and, indeed, sacrificing time they could devote to their families. As a municipal administration, therefore, it is our duty to enable them to do their work to the best of their ability.”.
But the novelties do not end there. If the first two editions of “Add a Place at the Table” consisted of a long table set up on the city waterfront and a “solidarity lunch” prepared by city associations, the third edition changes format completely, transforming into an all-around show that will feature Lovran's stars of entertainment as its main protagonists.
On Saturday, Dec. 22, starting at 6 p.m., the stage set up at the PalaGarassini on Matteotti Street will feature showgirl Elena Ballerini, actor and stand-up comedian Renzo Sinacori, dancer Celeste Mathieu and director Giorgio Molteni.
Also invited to the evening were “Striscia la Notizia” correspondent Vittorio Brumotti, “loanese by adoption” Shel Shapiro and film, TV and theater actor Enrico Mutti. All three accepted the proposal with great enthusiasm and made themselves available to the organization. Unfortunately, however, some work commitments will not allow them to be present at the sports hall. However, both Brumotti and Shapiro and Mutti decided to record a “solidarity video message” to contribute equally to the success of the evening and the fundraiser.
Special guest will be singer Roberta Bonanno, who just these weeks is a contestant on “Tale e Quale Show” aired every Friday night on Rai1.
“Given the importance of this event,‘ Pignocca and Zaccaria further explain, ’thanks to the collaboration with Marco Dottore's Eccoci Eventi Agency, we asked some of our distinguished fellow citizens to take the stage and bring their artistic contribution. This is a nice way to enrich even more this fantastic evening, which we hope will gain favor with a wide segment of our fellow citizens and beyond. The previous two editions of ”Add a Place at the Table' achieved great results. We are confident that the third edition will not betray expectations.".
With the purchase of a ticket, with a minimum offer of 10 euros, one can attend the show and enjoy an apericena prepared by Cir Food. Tickets can be purchased at the Italian Red Cross headquarters in Piazzale Aicardi 5 (opposite the Coop supermarket on Via Aurelia) and at the many sports and volunteer associations that collaborate with the event. It will also be possible to purchase the ticket on the day of the event at the cashiers of the sports hall.
Roberta Bonanno makes himself known to the public thanks to his participation in “Amici” in the 2007/2008 season, finishing in second place. Soon after, he participated in the musical comedy “Portamitanterose.it” conceived by Maurizio Costanzo and Enrico Vaime in the most important theaters throughout Italy. His is the voice of the songs that accompany numerous TV commercials: among them, the song “Per un attimo” for Felce Azzura; “Sorelle d'Italia” for Calzedonia; and “It's Oh So Quiet” for Toyota. Famous is her version of the song “A Natale puoi” with more than one million views on YouTube. This year she released the album “Me & Bonnie” which contains the single titled “Countertrend.” Also this year, she is the winner of the Mia Martini Award in Bagnata Calabra and a contestant on “Tale e Quale Show” 2018 on Rai1 with Carlo Conti.{:}
