From Nov. 10 to 26, a Loano, the Mosaic Hall in Doria Palace, will host the exhibition staff of Maria Antonella Provaggi, organized under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

Curiosity is woman” is the title of the exhibition that will alternate between photographs and paintings by the Loano artist.

They write about her, “Her sensitivity captures the deep aspects of everyday living and working. The artist deeply loves the sea and her land and conveys this in her works, interesting works in which nature and man are caught in an atmosphere of suspension and mystery. The memories, dreams, atmospheres and emotions of her lived experience shine through in her works. She is eclectic, passionate about gardening, food specialties, singing, painting, writing poetry, volunteering’ (Elvira Leiten - Norwegian painter and art critic. Boissano, July 19, 2010).

Techniques range from oil, acrylic, watercolor, sanguine, palette knife, brush, and collage.

Maria Antonella Provaggi  participated in several exhibitions (Liguria, Veneto and Tuscany), won the “originality” award in Toirano in 2008 and in Pietra Ligure in 2014.

He has held solo exhibitions in Liguria and Germany. In addition to Savona and province, his paintings are also in Genoa, Latina, Milan, Novara, Rome, Salerno, Turin, and Offenburg (D).

Published with Effetto Arte Editore in “Maestri” and “Italiani” selection of contemporary art 2016. Received the International Tiepolo Arte Milano April 21, 2016 award for “relevant artistic commitment.”.

As part of the exhibition, Saturday, November 25, on the occasion of the International Day Against Violence Against Women, to the 4 p.m., the exhibition will host the presentation of the poetry collection “Men, Women and...”. The initiative aims to raise funds for the Artemisia Gentileschi Anti-Violence Desk.

The exhibition, with free admission, can be visited from the Monday to Friday during opening hours of municipal offices.{:}
