Awarded last night in Loano the most beautiful sand castles of XXVII edition by Architects in the Grass, contest promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano in collaboration with the Marine Baths Union of Loano.
The initiative, which involved 300 children, is confirmed as a major event of the Loano summer. In the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, as of 9 p.m, awards evening was held accompanied by the entertainment of the I.so Theatre.
On the beaches of Loano, also this year awarded with the blue flag have been realized 61 works. In all, the following have joined 20 bathing establishments. The works were judged by the committee chaired by Vice Mayor Remo Zaccaria, by the Councillor for State Property and Environment. Ino Tassara And by the head of the sports office Rita Calcagno.
The first prize went to the Miramare Baths for the work “W Daisy” made by Camilla Cucchetto, Sofia Beachi, Federica Barbiero, Greta Balbiani, Pietro Gazzano. In second place is is classified the castle “The Parrot” realized in the Doria Baths by Ivana Ambrosio, Giorgia Ambrosio , Chiara Porielli, Alice Molino, Elisa Bona. Third place went to the work “Cal me maybe” built in the Nadia Baths by the very young architects Roberta Rambaldi, Cristian Colombo, Matteo Passerini, Elena Siviero, Sofia Giardina.
