The latest hairstyles and make-up will also be on the catwalk. It will be as always Franco Piave Hair to take care of hair cuts, colors and folds, while makeup will be offered by the beauty center Soul and Body Beauty Space. Sponsors of the initiative are the Gelmo Ice Cream Parlour, the Ligurian Typography e ADV Home.

The winter collections will be worn by more than one hundred gorgeous models along with 30 children, all strictly non-professionals, who will walk the runway with the aim of raising funds to be donated to the projects of the’Association Down Savona Onlus.

The conduction and direction of the show will be by. Luca Malvicini, who will be joined by the irony and comedy of Milena Barreca e Sabrina Sbarbaro.

“The evening's proceeds," explains Milena Barreca - will be used to continue a project started a few years ago that aims to empower young people with Down's Syndrome. The initiative is aimed at young people over 14 and involves the formation of small groups that, supported by educators, work on social autonomy. Mainly “outings” are organized in the area to places usually frequented by teenage boys. In addition, the home project, which involves accompanying young people to independent living. Our biggest dream is “after us,” which aims to help young people experience independent living situations with the intention of making them increasingly independent. It starts with one weekend a month to work on autonomy in the home. Then we move on to the housing week, one a month, in which skills to move around the territory are built alongside home autonomies.

The association also offers speech support to children up to age 18 on a weekly basis.

Finally, the funds raised will be used to support the sports activity, started in 2006, which has led to the establishment in the western Savona area of two volleyball teams and the summer sea project that sees our youngsters committed twice a week to independently attend the pool and sea.
Our association was also a promoter of the “boccasana” project: two dental prevention clinics housed at AIAS in Savona and free of charge for all disabled people in the province under the supervision of Dr. Calcagno.
Last news: we opened a very large house in Savona in May that will allow us to set up a place designed for today and for their tomorrow when care for the person will surely be more pressing and will require diversified responses depending on skill maintenance.
There are many initiatives and we continue to add to them. All of this is possible thanks to the help given to us over the years by individuals as well as associations, and we invite everyone to continue to support us.”{:}
