Ermal Meta at the beginning of 2016 finishes his first solo album entitled “Umano,” presented at Sanremo with the song “Odio le favole,” which won 3rd place among the new proposals, receiving for the lyrics a special mention from Premio Lunezia. The video - made by Marco Serpenti for BudabØ Film - is awarded the Soundies Awards by Lucana Film Commision and RTL listeners decree Ermal Meta's victory by reporting his song as the best song in the competition.
“Umano“-released by Mescal (distributed Artist First)-landed in record stores Feb. 12 and was represented on the radio for the entire summer by the track “A Parte Te,” premiered at the 2016 Coca Cola Summer Festival in Rome's Piazza del Popolo.
