Tuesday, July 11, a Loano, the program of events, sponsored by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano proposes the first event of the “Le guided tours of Loano”, curated by the CTG Loano.
The meeting is at 9 a.m., in front of Doria Palace. The walk to discover the architectural and artistic heritage will wind through the historic center and reach Mount Carmel where it will close with a visit to the Convent of Mount Carmel, one of the most interesting works of late Ligurian Mannerism. The imposing complex required major preparatory work including the construction of a viaduct, similar to a monumental bridge, that climbs from the village to the square and together the ramp with cobblestones that climbs to it from the opposite side.
The walk will be free of charge.
