{"id":9977,"date":"2017-07-07T11:58:37","date_gmt":"2017-07-07T09:58:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=9977"},"modified":"2017-07-07T11:58:37","modified_gmt":"2017-07-07T09:58:37","slug":"solo-exhibition-sculpture-donato-donno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/9977\/news\/mostra-personale-scultura-donato-donno\/","title":{"rendered":"{:it} PERSONAL SCULPTURE EXHIBITION OF DONATO DONNO{:}"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{:en}<strong>PRESS RELEASE (7\/07\/2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It will continue to <strong>Loano<\/strong> until <strong>July 15<\/strong> the solo exhibition of the sculptor <strong>Donato Donno<\/strong> set up in the <strong>Mosaic room<\/strong> by <strong>Doria Palace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition features some of the most significant works by the Apulian artist, who has lived in Turin since his youth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince childhood,\" says <strong>Donato Donno<\/strong> - I nurture a strong artistic sensibility, and an innate ability in manual and pictorial works. I attained my artistic maturity in 1979 by attending the Cottini Art School in Turin.<\/p>\n<p>I drew method and technique from the important masters Giuseppe Penone, Ezio Bersezio, Antonio Carena, and Sergio Saccomandi.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1990 I have been working as a Freelance Architect and have resumed sculpting in my spare time, researching forms and expression in poor materials and especially in the simplest and \u201cmost primal\u201c one: the\u2019<strong>clay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>My works move from thematic figures to abstract themes.
