Friday, June 23<\/strong>, a Loano<\/strong> the ninth edition<\/strong> of <\/strong>White night, <\/strong>will kick off the blue flag beach season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The party to greet the beginning of summer, sponsored by the\u2019Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano<\/strong> in collaboration with the\u2019ASCOM Loano<\/strong>, will be enlivened by live music and DJ sets in the streets, squares and waterfront. Llong entertainment marathon, which will keep everyone up late into the night with<\/strong> live music and <\/strong>tastings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The city's businesses and venues will be a mainstay of the initiative with an extraordinary opening of businesses and original tasting stations.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the evening will be the concert in Italy Square<\/strong>, announced at 10:30 pm<\/strong>, with the disruptive cult band Elio e le Storie Tese<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Before the concert, Massimo Morini<\/strong> leader of Buio Pesto will present the delivery of the Blue Flag 2017<\/strong> by the Mayor of Loano Luigi Pignocca<\/strong>\u00a0 To the president of the SIB (Sindacato Italiano Balneari) of Loano.\u00a0Diego Burastero.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the hours 20.00<\/strong>, warming up the musical evening while waiting for the big concert will be the 17 music stations <\/strong>set up on the waterfront and downtown streets. And to satisfy the palate, there will be many stations street food<\/strong> With special menus and tastings.<\/p>\n

On Corso Roma, musical entertainment will enliven the waterfront from East to West. Live music will be offered at the Bar Novecento.<\/strong> In front of the bar the Empire and Class Coffee<\/strong> will play the Many Keens<\/strong>. Continuing westward the Bar Vittorino<\/strong> will feature the cover band Mega Beat Live Pop. <\/strong><\/p>\n

L\u2019Olivier's Pub<\/strong> will host the pop-punk and rock cover band 4 Real<\/strong>, lo cultural space <\/strong>Maccagli Garden <\/strong>will feature the band <\/strong>Radio Waves<\/strong> and the Bar Rino<\/strong> will host Mamita Solo Italy.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The last waterfront location will be set up at the Chersicla Fountain<\/strong> where he will play the Award-winning Cotton Mill<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Music also in the downtown<\/strong>, with a succession of musical offerings. In Place Massena<\/strong> starring will be the rock band Vespa Surdu and<\/strong> in Ghilini Street <\/strong>the guitarist Enzo Cioffi<\/strong>. Two stations will come alive in via Garibaldi<\/strong>: the first will host Ni.Co altrnative pop<\/strong>, the second the acoustic jazz and soul duo Simona Briozzo & Marco Cravero<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Continuing eastward, in Star Street<\/strong> Double musical event: from 6 p.m. musical aperitif with the students of the A.S.D. Modern Jazz Dance of Loano directed by Teo Chirico<\/strong>, followed by the concert of Lambertz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In fortress square<\/strong> i Free Will<\/strong> Will present a tribute to the disco music of the 70s and 80s. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Music also in Boragine Street<\/strong> where they will play The Three Gottirios <\/strong>and in Palestro Square <\/strong>with <\/strong>Renato Spinetti.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally in Cavour Street<\/strong>, in the <\/strong>Caruggi Orb<\/strong>i, <\/strong>Caesarea Street<\/strong> and in <\/strong>course Europe <\/strong>the marching band Sbanday Street Band <\/strong>Will be featured in a traveling concert.<\/p>\n

At 22.30<\/strong>, in the big square, in the heart of the city will be the protagonists of the scene Elio e le Storie Tese<\/strong>. A grand return to the city that saw them, in the mid-1980s at the beginning of their career, on the scene of the historic Loano Cabaret<\/strong>, a review that launched many new faces in Italian comedy, and then in 2004 on the Prince's Garden stage.<\/p>\n

After the \u201cYes We Can't\u201d tour, which saw them perform in 12 European cities, EELST<\/strong> return to the Italian public, making a stop in Loano<\/strong> with a concert that combines rock, humor and improvisation resulting in an explosive cocktail.<\/p>\n

On the stage next to Helium<\/strong> (voice) there will be\u00a0 Faso<\/strong> (low), Caesar<\/strong> (guitar), Christian Meyer<\/strong> (battery), Jantoman<\/strong> (keyboards), Vittorio Cosma<\/strong> (keyboards), Paola Folli<\/strong> (vocals). Longtime friend of the group Luca Mangoni (vocals and backing vocals) joins the lineup.<\/p>\n

THE STORY. <\/strong><\/p>\n

From 1980 to 1988 Elio e le Storie Tese devoted themselves to becoming a cult phenomenon in Milan and surrounding areas, with some success, considering that in \u201988 without ever having released a record they drew more than 4,000 paying spectators to the Ciak Theater in a week of sold-out concerts.<\/p>\n

In 1989 they released \u201cElio Samaga Hukapan Kariyana Turu,\u201d their first album, which sold 100,000 copies bang, followed over the next 14 years by 7 official albums including 2 live albums.<\/p>\n

In 1990 they set the world record at the time for the longest song, playing the same song, \u201cTi Amo\u201d live for 12 hours straight, with lyrics invented by Elio at the time.<\/p>\n

In 1991 they played at the May 1 concert in Piazza San Giovanni and were censored live on RAI: they had improvised a rap dedicated to the cover-up scandals of the First Republic: less than two years later Mario Chiesa was caught throwing banknotes into the W.C. of his office at the Pio Albergo Trivulzio, the rest is history.<\/p>\n

In 1992 their single \u201cPipppero,\u201d featuring \u201cLe Myst\u00e8re des voix bulgares,\u201d topped the charts for six weeks.<\/p>\n

In 1996 they participated in the San Remo Festival, which they won by placing second, an all-Italian miracle, but those 4 performances are already television history. \u201cThe land of persimmons<\/strong>\u201d topped the charts for 8 weeks and the album \u201cEat The Phikis\u201d sold over 200,000 copies. Thunderstruck by those performances Rocco Siffredi calls them to participate in his most ambitious production, \u201cRocco e le Storie Tese,\u201d for which they also sign the soundtrack, played by Rocco Tanica in real time during editing.<\/p>\n

At the end of 1998 Feiez died from a stroke, during a concert.<\/p>\n

In 1999 they were awarded in Dublin as \u201cBest Italian Act\u201d at MTV's European Music Awards. In 2003 they were awarded in Milan as \u201cbest video clip\u201d at the F.I.M.I. Italian Music Awards.<\/p>\n

In 2004 they invented the brul\u00e9 CD, a live album that is recorded and sold live at the end of each concert.<\/p>\n

In 2006 they toured Italy with the show \u201cCo\u00e8si se vi pare,\u201d together with their friend Claudio Bisio.<\/p>\n

They spend 2007 locked in the studio producing their next masterpiece.<\/p>\n

On February 20, 2008, the new album - the eighth of their career - \u201cStudentessi\u201d was released. At the same time, they are called to conduct the Dopofestival, Raiuno's nightly music show, as part of the 2008 Sanremo Festival.<\/p>\n

On Oct. 30, 2009, the group released \u201cKittens,\u201d an album of songs from EelST's repertoire resonated with the help of an orchestra. The album is preceded by the single \u201cStory of a Beloved,\u201d in radio airplay since Oct. 2.<\/p>\n

Since 2009 for three seasons, Elio e le Storie Tese have joined as a resident band in the cast of the satirical program \u201cParla con me\u201d hosted by Serena Dandini and Dario Vergassola on Rai 3.<\/p>\n

In 2010, Elio became one of the judges on the Italian version of the X Factor, which he won in the first round with singer Nathalie.<\/p>\n

In 2012, the role of resident band was consolidated within the program \u201cThe Show Must Go Off\u201d aired on La7, also hosted by Serena Dandini and Dario Vergassola.<\/p>\n

In February 2013, the band took part in the 63rd Italian Song Festival in Sanremo, presenting the songs \u201cDannati Forever\u201d and \u201cLa Canzone Mononota,\u201d the latter of which won the \u201cMia Martini\u201d Critics' Award, the Best Arrangement Award, the Press, Web, Radio and TV Room Award and placed second in the final ranking.<\/p>\n

Elio e le Storie Tese's four performances feature gradually more extreme disguises and make-ups, as well as, on the evening dedicated to the History of the Festival, the presence of Rocco Siffredi, who performs the song \u201cUn bacio piccolissimo\u201d with them.<\/p>\n

On May 7, 2013, the new studio album \u201cL'Album Biango\u201d was released, anticipated by the single \u201cComplesso del Primo Maggio\u201d featuring Eugenio Finardi on vocals: the tracklist includes the aforementioned \u201cDannati forever,\u201d \u201cLa canzone mononota\u201d (featuring Nek), as well as \u201cEnlarge (your penis)\u201d and \u201cCome gli Area,\u201d which had already been performed live throughout the Enlarge Your Penis Tour in 2012.<\/p>\n

On March 6, 2014, \u201cIl Musichione,\u201d the first TV show under the name Elio e le Storie Tese, of which they are authors, hosts and resident band, aired on Rai Due for six weeks.<\/p>\n

In 2015, Elio returned to the X Factor as a judge and triumphed in the \u201cOver\u201d category, taking singer Giosada to first place.<\/p>\n
