{"id":8774,"date":"2017-02-27T12:53:17","date_gmt":"2017-02-27T11:53:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=8774"},"modified":"2017-02-27T12:53:17","modified_gmt":"2017-02-27T11:53:17","slug":"good-morning-region-tgr-liguria-at-the-carnivaloa-shed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/8774\/news\/buongiorno-regione-tgr-liguria-al-capannone-del-carnevaloa\/","title":{"rendered":"GOOD MORNING REGION - TGR LIGURIA AT THE CARNIVAL\u00d6A SHED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE (02\/27\/2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Feb. 28,<\/strong> <strong>Good morning Region<\/strong>, the rubric of the <strong>TGR Liguria,<\/strong> will be at <strong>Loano<\/strong> and will broadcast live from the hall of the <strong>CarnevaL\u00f6a.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tgr Liguria crew will meet with volunteers from the\u2019<strong>Old Loano Association <\/strong>Who made the 13 floats that will parade for the second time <strong>Sunday, March 5.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The protagonists of the <strong>CarnevaL\u00f6a<\/strong> will tell Rai's microphones about the techniques of building floats and the 100-year history of the Loano carnival.<\/p>\n<p>News Liguria will be aired starting at <strong>7:30 a.m.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Loano carnival has more than 100 years of history, and over time several associations have taken turns carrying on this tradition: the \u201cLoano Sports Union,\u201d the \u201cRed Circle,\u201d the \u201cFetaia,\u201d the \u201cEdelweiss,\u201d the \u201cOriental Bluman Carovan\u201d group, the \u201cPu\u00e8 Pepin\u201d Association , the \u2019Azienda Autonoma di Turismo e Soggiorno\u201d and from the <strong>1992<\/strong> touch <strong>to the Association of \u201cOld Loano\u201d <\/strong>with the support of the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the past 23 years, the Loano carnival has come to be recognized by the region as the <strong>\u201cbiggest carnival in Liguria\u201d<\/strong> as the number of floats, and for the past few years has included an Italian commedia dell'arte mask, <strong>Captain Fracassa<\/strong> which together with <strong>Pu\u00e8 Pepin<\/strong>, King of the Loano Carnival since 1950 and <strong>U Beciancin<\/strong>, a goliardic character from the early 1900s and official mask, make up a carnival trio now known throughout Italy.<\/p>\n<p>Loano, along with Parma, Turin, Vercelli, Castelnuovo Don Bosco (Asti), Busca (Cuneo), Verona, Aosta, Acerra (Naples), Catanzaro, Polignano a Mare (Bari), Sciacca (Agrigento) is a co-founder of the <strong>\u201cNational Coordination Center of Italian Masks.\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The long-standing passion of the Old Loano Association for the historical and cultural value of the mask tradition, in agreement with other national associations, helped promote and establish the <strong>first \u201cItalian mask registry\u201d <\/strong>where all the Italian commedia dell'arte masks and folkloric characters from various regional realities are recorded.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the initiative is to enhance the carnival not only as an occasion for fun but also <strong>as a historical, traditional, cultural and tourist resource.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sunday <strong>March 5<\/strong> the <strong>26th edition<\/strong> of <strong>CarnevaL\u00f6a<\/strong> \u00a0will close with the <strong>Palio of the Commons<\/strong>, which will compare floats from the riparian and inland municipalities that have joined the event.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PRESS RELEASE (02\/27\/2017) On Tuesday, Feb. 28, Buongiorno Regione, the TGR Liguria column, will be at Loano and broadcast live from the CarnevaL\u00f6a shed.
