Sunday, January 29<\/strong>, a Loano<\/strong>, will kick off the program of initiatives of the 26th edition<\/strong> of CarnevaL\u00f6a<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019Old Loano Association <\/strong>with contributions from the\u2019Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Loano carnival will offer a varied program of events: c<\/strong>ortees of masks, parades of floats and street parties for children<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>To inaugurate the Carneval\u00f6a 2017 <\/strong>will be the ceremony of handing over the keys to the city <\/strong>To the three loanese masks: Pu\u00e8 Pepin<\/strong> King of Carnival, U Beciancin<\/strong> official mask of the CarnevaL\u00f6a and Captain Fracassa<\/strong>, mask of the commedia dell'arte.<\/p>\n

After the handover of the keys, the Grand Parade of Masks<\/strong> through the city streets (waterfront and old town) in which numerous carnival delegations from Liguria<\/strong>, Piedmont<\/strong>, Lombardy<\/strong>, Emilia Romagna <\/strong>e Veneto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The meeting and start of the parade will be in Italy Square<\/strong>, starting with the 3 p.m.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The 2017 edition of the Carneval\u00f6a<\/strong> will continue with two afternoons dedicated to children<\/strong>: from hours 15.00<\/strong>, the February 18<\/strong>, in Italy Square<\/strong> with music, entertainment and carnival sweets, and the February 25<\/strong> in Place Massena<\/strong> With the traditional pi\u00f1ata.<\/p>\n

I 13<\/strong> carts<\/strong> made by carnival artisans will parade down Corso Roma (waterfront) on the February 26 <\/strong>and the March 5<\/strong>, accompanied by marching bands, majorettes and walking masked groups.<\/p>\n

Sunday, February 26<\/strong> as part of the parade will take place the Village Palio<\/strong>, a carnival competition involving floats representing the villages of Loano.
