{"id":7893,"date":"2016-08-18T12:30:22","date_gmt":"2016-08-18T10:30:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=7893"},"modified":"2016-08-18T12:30:22","modified_gmt":"2016-08-18T10:30:22","slug":"mario-tessuto-the-song-of-the-sixties-seventies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/7893\/news\/mario-tessuto-la-canzone-degli-anni-sessanta-settanta\/","title":{"rendered":"MARIO TESSUTO AND THE SONG OF THE SIXTIES AND SEVENTIES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE <\/strong><strong>(18\/08\/2016)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Start of the weekend in\u00a0<strong>Loano<\/strong>\u00a0dedicated to songs from the 1960s and 1970s with a new event in the music festival \u201c<strong>Finally Friday.\u201d<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>of the City of Loano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, August 19\u00a0<\/strong>at\u00a0<strong>\u00a021.00<\/strong><em>,<\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>at\u00a0<strong>waterfront in Orto Maccagli<\/strong>,The guest of the exhibition will be\u00a0<strong>Mario Fabric<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The performer, one of the most famous of the late 1960s, will look back together with his wife <strong>Donatella<\/strong> his greatest successes, including the famous \u201c<strong>Blue-eyed Lisa.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The concert will be opened by the\u00a0<strong>Duo Charade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Pignataro Maggiore in September 1944, as Mario Buongiovanni, <strong>Mario Fabric<\/strong> He spent his adolescence and early youth in Milan, where he had moved with his family.<\/p>\n<p>A music enthusiast, thanks to his friendship with Livio Macchia, singer and guitarist with the Camaleonti, he began performing live and was noticed by Miki Del Prete, Adriano Celentano's collaborator, who offered him a contract with Celentano's label, Clan Celentano.<\/p>\n<p>However, during the term of the contract, he did not record any albums and therefore moved to Jaguar Records (brought there by Ricky Gianco, whom he met at the Clan).<\/p>\n<p>However, his first real opportunity came with C.G.D., thanks to which he participated in the \u201cCantagiro\u201d in 1967 with \u201c<em>Teen Agers Concert<\/em>\u201d and wins many stages.<\/p>\n<p>In 1968 he began to get noticed by recording Ho scritto fine, a song composed by Don Backy that collected over 150 thousand copies sold.<\/p>\n<p>The name begins to get noticed, but success comes with a return to the same event two years later: at the 1968 Cantagiro he presents\u00a0<em>\u201cI wrote \u201dend',\",<\/em>\u00a0piece written by\u00a0<em>Don Backy<\/em>\u00a0and sells as many as 150,000 record copies, which for a beginner turns out to be the first real success.<\/p>\n<p>Opportunities were not slow in coming. He also participated in 1968 in\u00a0<em>\u201cSeven Voices\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and becomes Champion of the Year. This second achievement spurs the C.G.D. to present him to\u00a0<em>\u201cAn album for the summer\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0 with the song\u00a0<em>\u201c<strong>Blue-eyed Lisa<\/strong><\/em>\u201dwritten by Giancarlo Bigazzi (lyrics) and Claudio Cavallaro (music). It came in second place but earned a gold record (almost two million copies sold) and spent three months at number one in\u00a0<em>Hit Parade<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The song quickly became one of the best-selling songs of the year, as well as one of the most iconic songs of the 1960s, remaining in the top ten for fifteen weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The cinema immediately takes notice of this young man and his\u00a0<em>\u201cBlue-eyed Lisa<\/em>\u201d makes a film out of it, directed by\u00a0<em>Bruno Corbucci<\/em>.  In this case too, his career continues and does not stop at the first film but continues with two more.<\/p>\n<p>Also in 1969, Mario Tessuto took part in\u00a0<em>\u201cCanzonissima\u201d<\/em>\u00a0with the new song\u00a0<em>\u201cNose up\u201d <\/em>\u00a0(500,000 copies) also written by\u00a0<em>Bigazzi and Cavallaro<\/em>, which enters the charts, as well as\u00a0<em>Midnight blue<\/em>\u00a0<em>blue<\/em>, written by\u00a0<em>Mogol<\/em>\u00a0for the text and by <em>Mario Lavezzi<\/em>\u00a0for music.<\/p>\n<p>In 1970 he participated in the\u00a0<em>Sanremo Festival<\/em>\u00a0paired with Orietta Berti with\u00a0<em>\u201cTipitipit\u00ec\u201d<\/em>\u00a0With little luck.<\/p>\n<p>At some point in his career, Mario Tessuto decided to sing with Wife. <strong>Donatella<\/strong>\u00a0To renew themselves.
