{"id":7561,"date":"2016-07-14T19:36:01","date_gmt":"2016-07-14T17:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=7561"},"modified":"2016-07-14T19:36:01","modified_gmt":"2016-07-14T17:36:01","slug":"crostolo-festival-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/7561\/news\/sagra-del-crostolo-2\/","title":{"rendered":"CROSTOLO FESTIVAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE <\/strong><strong>(14\/07\/2016)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Loano offers a new opportunity to enjoy the flavors of local cuisine at the start of the weekend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, July 15, and Saturday, July 16<\/strong> on the waterfront of <strong>Loano<\/strong>, near the<strong> Sea Workers' Cottage<\/strong>, the traditional <strong>Crostolo Festival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the large steel pan more than 2 meters in diameter for two days will be packed and fried in more than 200 liters of oil the \u201c<strong>Crostoli<\/strong>\u201d and the \u201c<strong>Fugassin<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>On the first day, from <strong>5 p.m.<\/strong>, you can enjoy the <strong>\u201cCrostoli\u201d<\/strong>, a typical sweet of the Riviera, similar to \u201cbugie\u201d or \u201cchiacchere,\u201d whose dough is made with flour, eggs, sugar, yeast water and flavorings.<\/p>\n<p>On the second day, again starting in the afternoon, frying in the frying pan will be \u201cFugassin,\u201d a savory dough made of flour, water, yeast, olive oil and flavorings.
