Tuesday, July 5<\/strong> a Loano<\/strong> will kick off the fifth edition<\/strong> of the exhibition \u201cCulture Tuesdays<\/strong>\u201d, promoted by the\u2019Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano <\/strong>and curated by the I.So THeatre <\/strong>in collaboration with the Mondadori Bookstore of Loano.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Summer is the best time to devote yourself to reading, and this initiative in Loano will offer the opportunity to get to know and approach writers and literary genres.<\/p>\n

It will be the Prince's Garden<\/strong> to host the review every Tuesday, at 6 p.m. <\/strong>Conducting the meetings with the authors will be Graziella Frasca Gallo<\/strong>, accompanied by the musical notes performed by Maestro Roberto Sinito.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The exhibition will kick off with Maria Masella<\/strong>. The author will share interesting facts and anecdotes about the Commissioner Antonio Mariani<\/strong>, the protagonist of a highly successful cycle (fifteen novels and three short stories) published by Frilli Editori. The good response obtained by the character led to the sale of rights for the production of a television drama.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cWhen I wrote\u00a0Death at home<\/strong>, \u2013 explains Maria Masella <\/strong>\u2013 starring the commissioner Antonio Mariani<\/strong> (and his wife, Francesca Lucas), I didn't expect it to start a series. Each novel is a complete story, but reading them in the correct order also allows you to grasp the evolution of the character and his family relationships. I recommend reading them in this order: First, Death at Home, The Doubt, The Secret Cause, The Fortune Teller of Via Venti, Days Counted, The Black Heart Case, I Know, Last Call for Mariani, Mariani and the Unsolved Case, Recita per Mariani, Celtique, Mariani allo specchio, Mariani e le mezze verit\u00e0, Mariani e le porte chiuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Maria Masella<\/strong>\u00a0also known by the pseudonym Mary M. Riddle, was born in Genoa. With a degree in Mathematics, she taught for many years at a scientific high school.<\/p>\n

Her writing career began with the publication of some of her spy stories in the series\u00a0Mondadori's top secret<\/strong> but then changed genres several times, writing fantasy, mystery, and romance stories and novels set in both historical and contemporary settings.
\nShe has participated several times in the Mystfest in Cattolica, and has won awards in two editions (1987 and 1988). Two of her stories were finalists for the Tolkien Prize.<\/p>\n

The review \u201cCulture Tuesdays<\/strong>\u201d will continue the July 12<\/strong> with the novel \u201cAs if love were enough\u201d <\/strong>which will feature the writer Patrizia Emilitri<\/strong>. The July 19 Cristina Rava <\/strong>will present the detective novel \u201cWhen the Shadows End\u201d <\/strong>and the July 26, Andrea Vitali <\/strong>will present the novel to the public in Loano \u201cKafka's apples.\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At August<\/strong> Will be guests of the review Bruno Morchio<\/strong> with \u201cFragile truths (August 2), Margherita Oggero<\/strong> with \u201cGirl Across the Way\u201d (August 9), Lorenzo Beccati<\/strong> with \u201cAenigma\u201d (August 16), Raffaella Romagnolo<\/strong> \u201cThe Wrong Daughter\u201d (August 30).<\/p>\n

The event will be rounded off by the \u201cPoetry and Music\u201d meeting, with readings of verses by Graziella Frasca Gallo<\/strong> accompanied by music and songs performed by the Master Roberto Sinito<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
