{"id":7238,"date":"2016-06-06T13:03:36","date_gmt":"2016-06-06T11:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=7238"},"modified":"2016-06-06T13:03:36","modified_gmt":"2016-06-06T11:03:36","slug":"young-concert-performers-anemos-wind-quintet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/7238\/news\/giovani-concertisti-quintetto-fiati-anemos\/","title":{"rendered":"YOUNG CONCERT PERFORMERS \u2013 ANEMOS WOODWIND QUINTET"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE (2\/06\/2016)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Continued at <strong>Loano<\/strong> the music review <strong>Young Concert Artists<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019<strong>St. Mary Immaculate Music Association <\/strong>under the auspices of the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The festival dedicated to young musicians showcases some of the best talents in Italian music, artists who already enjoy national and international fame, alongside promising young talents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, June 4,<\/strong> at <strong>9 p.m.<\/strong>, in the Council Chamber at <strong>Doria Palace, <\/strong>the wind quintet concert will take place <strong>Anemos<\/strong>, formed by <strong>Charles Pinardi<\/strong> (Clarinet), <strong>Andrea Martinella<\/strong> (Oboe), <strong>Anna Govetto<\/strong> (Flute), <strong>Paolo Armato<\/strong> (Horn) and <strong>Paul Dreosto<\/strong> (Bassoon).<\/p>\n<p>The Anemos quintet was formed in 2008 by five young musicians from Friuli, eager to try their hand at the vast <strong>floral wind repertoire <\/strong>spanning from the 18th century to the present day.<\/p>\n<p>He specialized in Ljubljana with Maestro Paolo Calligaris, bassoonist of the Slowind quintet, one of the most important ensembles on the European scene.<\/p>\n<p>The concert at Loanosi will open with a performance of \u201c<strong>Small musical offering<\/strong>\u201d for wind quintet (1943) by <strong>Nino Rota<\/strong>. The evening will continue with the pieces \u201cTrois pi\u00e8ces br\u00e8ves\u201d by <strong>Jacques Ibert<\/strong>,  \u201cLa chemin\u00e9e du Roi Ren\u00e9\u201d by <strong>Darius Milhaud<\/strong>, \u201cSuite No. 1\u201d by <strong>Claude Debussy<\/strong> and will close with \u201cThree Shanties op. 4\u201d by <strong>Malcolm Arnold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The quintet has performed numerous concerts in Italy (the Guido Cantelli Wind Instrument Festival in Novara, the Nei suoni dei luoghi International Festival, the Vatican Museums in Rome, etc.) and abroad (the Ljubljana Philharmonic and Young Virtuosi Festival in Ljubljana, the Theater of Vlora and the Theater of Shkod\u00ebr in Albania).<\/p>\n<p>Worthy of note is the performance of P.
