{"id":6777,"date":"2016-03-21T12:34:40","date_gmt":"2016-03-21T11:34:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=6777"},"modified":"2016-03-21T12:34:40","modified_gmt":"2016-03-21T11:34:40","slug":"monumental-tree-cleaning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/6777\/news\/pulizia-albero-monumentale\/","title":{"rendered":"MONUMENTAL TREE CLEANING"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE (3\/21\/2016)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019<strong>Loano Association <\/strong>\u201c<strong>Friends of the Carmo<\/strong>\u201d provided the cleaning of the <strong>Monumental juniper<\/strong>which is located in <strong>Loano<\/strong> In the locality of Stevi.<\/p>\n<p>The tree intervention was carried out following permission from the <strong>Forestry Corps of Loano<\/strong> and of the\u2019<strong>Technical Office of the City of Loano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers of the Loano association, under the direction of the expert and connoisseur of the area\u00a0<strong>Gianni Oliva<\/strong>, they removed the weedy ivy that was jeopardizing the survival of the monumental tree, located at the edge of the municipal path from Verzi to the summit of Monte Carmo.<\/p>\n<p>The tree, which has a circumference of 1.90 meters and is 10 meters tall, is part of the <strong>44 monumental trees<\/strong>classified by the State Forestry Department and the Province of Savona.
