{"id":5679,"date":"2015-08-07T12:46:06","date_gmt":"2015-08-07T10:46:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=5679"},"modified":"2015-08-07T12:46:06","modified_gmt":"2015-08-07T10:46:06","slug":"concert-dorgano-in-the-oratory-of-turkeys","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/5679\/news\/concerto-dorgano-nelloratorio-dei-turchini\/","title":{"rendered":"ORGAN CONCERT IN THE TURQUOISE ORATORY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE (6\/08\/2014)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, August 7<\/strong>, a <strong>Loano, <\/strong>in the\u2019<strong>Oratory of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary (Turchini)<\/strong>,will take place, at <strong>21.15<\/strong>, the concert of the Spanish musician <strong>Carme Godall Castell.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The evening, sponsored by the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Loano<\/strong> \u00a0and organized by the <strong>Brotherhood<\/strong><strong> Of the Turchin Hoods, <\/strong>fits into the program of the <strong>17th International Organ Festival<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019<strong>Rapallo Music Association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carme Godall Castell<\/strong> will play the \u201cNicomede Agati\u201d organ (1850) performing a wide repertoire of sacred music ranging from the 16th century to the late 18th century.<\/p>\n<p>The organist will perform pieces by <strong>F<\/strong><strong>. Antonio Mart\u00edn y Coll<\/strong> (1671-1734)\u00a0, <strong>Antonio de Cabez\u00f3n<\/strong> (1510-1566), Joan Baptista Cabanilles (1644-1712), Pablo Bruna (1611-1679), Vicent Rodr\u00edguez Monllor (1690-1760) , John Stanley (1712-1786), Anonymous Pistoiese (18th cent.), Carles Baguer (1768-1808).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carme Godall Castell<\/strong> \u00e9 was born in Barcelona (Spain) where she studied piano at the Conservatorio Superior Municipal de M\u00fasica, with Maria Drets, Paula Torr\u00f3ntegui and Antoni Besses. She then continued her organ studies at the same conservatory and obtained the superior degree in organ under the direction of Montserrat Torrent (1998) and later the Superior t\u00edtude of Professor d'Orgue at the Conservatorio Superior Municipal de M\u00fasica de Barcelona (2000).<\/p>\n<p>He participated in postgraduate courses in Spain (in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands), and in Switzerland with professors Montserrat Torrent (M\u00fasica Ib\u00e9rica), Michael Radulescu (the work of J.S.Bach), Andreas Arand (Romantic Music), Jan Willem Jansen (Flemish Music), Hans Helsten (Nordic Music) and Guido Iotti (Italian Music). He took a Postgrade course for graduate students with Montserrat Torrent at the Department of Musicology of the \u201cConsejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas\u201d in Barcelona.<br \/>\nShe has given concerts in Spain, Italy and France, both as soloist and as acompanist for various instrumental and vocal groups.<br \/>\nHe has recorded live concerts for local radio stations and Radio Nacional de Espa\u00f1a-4. He is organist on major liturgical feasts in the Parish Church of Sant Feliu de Cabrera de Mar (Barcelona).<br \/>\nShe collaborates as organ teacher in the Music School of Cabrera de Mar and as director of the Cor Parroquial. She studied singing with R. Garrell (JJMM Award of Spain) and choral conducting with M. Cabero (St. George's Cross Award).
