PRESS RELEASE <\/strong>(24\/07\/2015)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Return to\u00a0Loano, <\/strong>\u00a0summer carnival. After a five-year absence, Saturday, July 25<\/strong>, from the\u00a09:30 pm<\/strong>, on\u00a0Rome Course<\/strong>\u00a0will parade the floats<\/strong> of\u00a0\u00a0CarnevaL\u00d6A 2015 Summer Edition<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019Old Loano Association\u00a0<\/strong>With the sponsorship and contribution of the\u2019Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is great anticipation for the return of the Loano Carnival, an event with more than 100 years of history. The summer parade will be the prologue to the 2016 winter edition that will mark the true rebirth of the CarnevaL\u00f6a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Also taking part in the parade will be various masked walking groups, numerous carnival delegations from all over Italy, and the\u00a0folk band<\/strong>\u00a0Rumpe and Streppa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Opening the parade will be the traditional\u00a0clock wagon<\/strong>\u00a0(Porta Passorino) with the three Ligurian masks:\u00a0Captain Fracassa, Pue Pepin and Beciancin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The parade will start from Cadorna Square<\/strong>, will run through Rome course<\/strong> and will arrive in Mazzini Square<\/strong>, where the floats will turn to return to Corso Roma and to reach Cadorna Square again. The awards stage will be positioned in front of the Perelli Residence<\/strong> where the speaker of Radio Onda Ligure<\/strong>,Maurilio<\/strong>, will announce the arrival of the floats and groups.<\/p>\n

The Loano waterfront will be enlivened by traditional masks from Piedmont (Maccagli Garden), Lombardy (Nassyria Gardens), Aosta Valley (Chersicla Fountain) and Liguria (Rosa dei Venti Square). In the entertainment areas, the masks will be accompanied by folk musicians who will engage the audience with folk rhythms and melodies. Also on the waterfront will be the artisans' market.<\/p>\n
