Buio Pesto celebrate their career and entry into the Italian singles chart with 40 summer concerts, a USB stick with all their songs, and a sensational finale: a world record.

The Tour presentation reads: “Ballon,’ one of the most successful songs from the CD “Buio Pesto,” released in 2014, is the title of the 2015 tour that will take the band's wild goliardia to 40 locations in Liguria (and beyond) with as many concerts.

Buio Pesto have come very close in recent years to the world of soccer, especially soccer played for “charity,” thanks to the official entry of Massimo Morini at Italian National Singing Team, with whom the Buio Pesto frontman has already collected 4 appearances (strictly on the bench, except for no less than 8 decisive minutes in the Chiavari charity match last April 12...!).

“Ballon” (which in “zeneize” dialect means both “ball” and “soccer game”) tells about the world of soccer with the usual irony that characterizes the Bogliasco band's lyrics: but is it ever possible - one wonders - that there is a football game on television every day, every hour? The song is littered with musical quotations from other famous songs, including Rita Pavone's “La partita di pallone,” Cochi and Renato's “E la vita, la vita,” and Ennio Morricone's World Cup theme song from Argentina. Complete with mentions of Ligurian soccer teams playing in the top leagues, opening whistle and triple final whistle. This is an important year for Buio Pesto, who are celebrating 20 years in Ligurian dialect (Belinlandia, their first album in dialect, was released on June 10, 1995), but also their entry, for the first time, into the Italian iTunes digital pop music sales chart, with the song “Io e Te.” Released by Rusty Records and distributed by Believe Digital, the song reached the 25th position, 15th overall among Italians. The band in September aims to break the world record for the longest song in the world with a song that will last two hours (the song that currently holds the title lasts one hour and thirty minutes). The official entry in the “Guinness World Records” has already been accepted and a public event will be organized in Genoa to present the certificate once the record is broken.”

The evening is at FREE ADMISSION.

PRESS RELEASE (06/19/2015) On Sunday, June 21, at 9 p.m. in the Giardino del Principe Summer Arena, Buio Pesto's summer tour will open: the “Ballon Tour.” The evening, organized with the...

[1

0":"post-5151","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-news
["GET
