LA VIE EN ROSE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE (5\/03\/2015)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Loano <\/strong>celebrates the <strong>Women's Day <\/strong>with the initiative<strong>\u201cLoano ... la Vie en rose\u201d<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019<strong>Old Loano Association <\/strong>under the auspices of the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, March 8, <\/strong>music will be the main theme of International Women's Day. From <strong>10.30 <\/strong>at<strong> 24, downtown streets and the waterfront <\/strong>will host <strong>marching bands, singer-songwriters, cover bands. <\/strong>A floral tribute and a chocolate kiss will be given to all women.<br \/>\nKicking off the pink music festival will be, at <strong>10:30 a.m.<\/strong>, on the promenade and downtown streets, the traveling concert of the <strong>Sbanday Street Band. <\/strong>The Loano marching band will give an engaging performance performing popular songs, mixing various musical styles, resulting in an explosive blend of sonic energy.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers from the Old Loano Association will distribute mimosas to all ladies in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>The festival will continue from <strong>3 p.m.<\/strong> with live music on the streets and in the outdoor areas of the venues. In <strong>via <\/strong><strong>Star<\/strong>, the artist <strong>Sante<\/strong> will enliven the afternoon with a repertoire of pop music. At <strong>Massena Square<\/strong>, <strong>Paul Bortolotti <\/strong>will give a light music concert. At <strong>15.30<\/strong>, the <strong>Varma Bar<\/strong>, in <strong>Fortress Square<\/strong>, will present the concert of the <strong>Tourn Around<\/strong> (pop music).<br \/>\nAt <strong>18.00<\/strong> will animate the stages of the <strong>Bar Rino<\/strong> with pop music performer <strong>Anna<\/strong> e <strong>Vittorino Wine Bar<\/strong> with the\u2019<strong>Ambaradan Party Band<\/strong>. Finally at the <strong>21.00<\/strong> the <strong>Cafe \u2018900<\/strong> will host the cover band <strong>Vespusurdu<\/strong> (Rock and Blues music).<br \/>\n<strong>Special guest<\/strong> of the pink musical afternoon will be the concert of the <strong>Pesto Darkness<\/strong>, scheduled from <strong>3 p.m.<\/strong>, in the <strong>Maccagli Garden Cultural Space, on the waterfront<\/strong>. <strong>Pesto Darkness<\/strong> Are the biggest and funniest Ligurian dialect band. The story of Buio Pesto begins in the <strong>1983,<\/strong> but in 1995 it knows a major turning point with the decision to sing in Genoese dialect. Since then, the band has been setting Liguria ablaze with highly successful live concerts.<\/p>\n<p>The group consists of.\u00a0<strong>Massimo Morini<\/strong>\u00a0(on vocals and keyboards), <strong>David Ageno<\/strong>\u00a0(on guitar),\u00a0<strong>Danilo Straulino<\/strong>\u00a0(on drums),\u00a0<strong>Nino Cancilla<\/strong>\u00a0(on bass),\u00a0<strong>Federica Saba<\/strong>(under the heading),<strong>\u00a0Gianni Casella\u00a0<\/strong>(under the heading),\u00a0<strong>Maurizio Borzone<\/strong>\u00a0(on violin),\u00a0<strong>Massimo Bosso\u00a0<\/strong>(on backing vocals), who is also the producer and author of the lyrics.<\/p>\n<p>Floral tributes and kisses...chocolate will be distributed to all women during the concerts.<\/p>\n<p>The day's program will be enriched by the <strong>Antiques and Collectibles Market<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019<strong>Cultural and Recreational Association Events Free<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event dedicated to antiques and collectibles, scheduled on the second Sunday of each month, will kick off <strong>8:00 a.m.<\/strong> and will continue until late afternoon under the arcades of Corso Europa and in the neighboring gardens.<br \/>\nThe exhibitors, under the arcades of Corso Europa, will present a selected collection of furniture, silver, paintings, carpets and objects with an antique flavor and full of charm. Curiosities and grandmother's things will find a place on the market, as well as all kinds of collectibles and modern items, following the fashion of recent times, which favors the vintage characteristic of our 60s and 70s.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>via Ghilini<\/strong>, the Catholic Mission \u201cRegina Pacis\u201d in collaboration with the National Alpine Association of Loano will raise funds to support its work in Thailand. Along with the traditional mimosa, Thai handicrafts produced by guests of the Mission will be displayed. Proceeds from the free offerings will go to support the children's studies. The mission is in Chae Hom, a very large area (about 3,000 square kilometers) spanning three districts in Lampang province-Chaehom, Muangpan and Wangnua in northern Thailand. The missionaries care for 46 villages (out of about 300 total) in an area covering more than 3,000 sq. km and a population of about 80,000. There are six different ethnic and cultural groups in the mission territory, each with its own language and religious traditions. A pluralism of ethnicities and cultures that are a great cultural and human wealth.
