{"id":4524,"date":"2015-02-04T12:03:58","date_gmt":"2015-02-04T11:03:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=4524"},"modified":"2015-02-04T12:03:58","modified_gmt":"2015-02-04T11:03:58","slug":"meeting-workshops-for-parents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/4524\/news\/incontri-laboratori-per-genitori\/","title":{"rendered":"MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS FOR PARENTS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><\/strong><strong>PRESS RELEASE (4\/2\/2015)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, February 6<\/strong>, at <strong>17.15,<\/strong> at <strong>Civic Library<\/strong> a <strong>Loano<\/strong>, will continue the series of meetings for parents and children <strong>\u201cFACE TO FACE MOM AND BABY\u201d<\/strong>,promoted by the\u2019<strong>Department of Social Services of the City of Loano <\/strong>as part of family policies related to \u201ccity times,\u201d and organized by the\u2019<strong>No Head Start Association.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The topic addressed in the public meeting will be <strong>\u201cThe Pacifier Pros and Cons. <\/strong>The topic will be explored with the Health Care Assistant <strong>Giuliana Panero <\/strong>(Albisola counseling center).<\/p>\n<p>Lots of food for thought: When and how to use the pacifier? Are there any advantages? What are the disadvantages? Does it interfere with breastfeeding? How and how to remove the pacifier? Are there better pacifiers than others?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are important directions for pacifier use that many parents ignore. - explain the organizers - It's useful to know and inform yourself so you don't abuse it and go through many little difficulties.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019<strong>Association I Don't Head Start<\/strong>\u00a0has also opened registration for the <strong>workshops aimed at parents and couples<\/strong>. Six meetings are planned.<\/p>\n<p>The method used is \u201cknow- how\u201d(literally \u201cknowing how\u201d), aimed at providing practical strategies and tools, problem management skills, and practical skills that are easily operable in everyday life. Comparison-based teaching techniques, games, worksheets and experiential procedures are used.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>workshops for parents<\/strong> topics will be covered such as: educational strategies for understanding, listening and growing children peacefully, educational models, what are \u201ctantrums\u201d and how to understand and manage them, how to foster self-esteem and security in children, what attachment style do I have with my child? Analysis of attachment patterns.<\/p>\n<p>The workshops will take place <strong>Wednesday, February 18 and 25 and March 4<\/strong> from<strong> 5:30 p.m.<\/strong> at<strong> 19,30. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The topics covered in the<strong> couple workshops <\/strong>will be:child birth and the \u201cnew couple,\u201d conflict management, effective communication and communication techniques, active listening. Also, topics such as taking care of self, couple and child and balancing roles, tyrant time and good time.<\/p>\n<p>The workshops will take place <strong>Monday, February 9,16,23 <\/strong>from <strong>5:30 p.m.<\/strong> at <strong>19,30.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finally, <strong>Monday, February 9<\/strong>, in the\u00a0 <strong>gymnasium of the Sports Hall, at the<\/strong> <strong>10.15 am, <\/strong>will take place the <strong>open lesson <\/strong>For mothers and children (zero to 2 years old) of<strong> Osteopathy and Kinesiology<\/strong>, which will illustrate simple techniques for baby's well-being.This is an evaluation and indication of some simple techniques to improve and rebalance the body.
