Saturday, September 13<\/strong>,a Loano<\/strong>, will continue the review \u201cThe Concerts of the Turchins - The Musics of the Soul.\u201d, <\/strong>organized by the Brotherhood<\/strong> of the Turks' Chapels<\/strong> under the auspices of the\u2019Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 9 p.m.<\/strong>, host of the\u2019Oratory of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary<\/strong> will be the quartet composed of Nicholas Robinson <\/strong>(baroque violin), Marco Ruggeri <\/strong>(Harpsichord), Lina Uinskyte, <\/strong>(violin), Gloria Gili <\/strong>(piano).<\/p>\n

The formation will give life to the concert \u201cOld-fashioned or modern, Mozart?\u201d<\/strong>. The pieces performed by the quartet will be \u201cSonata in E minor, K. 304\u201d (allegro, minuet tempo),<\/p>\n

\u201cSonata in G major, K. 379\u201d (adagio, allegro, theme and variations), \u201cSonata in C major, K. 303\u201d (adagio, allegro molto, minuet tempo), \u201cSonata in sib major, K. 454\u201d (largo, allegro, andante, allegretto), Rondo \u201calla turca\u201d (from Sonata K. 331).<\/p>\n

Nicholas Robinson <\/strong>has been one of the most sought-after violinists in the field of early music in Italy and abroad for more than 20 years. He has performed extensively with more than 60 concerts a year and numerous CD recordings. He studied at the Royal College of Music in London and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with Chrisopher Rowland, where he graduated in 1992 with highest honors. He studied baroque violin with Andrew Manze, Catherine Mackintosh, Edward Melkus and Monica Hugget, and in 1993 came to Italy to study with Enrico Gatti. He has been first violin backing and soloist of the most important Italian and European early music ensembles. In addition, he has played with Fabio Biondi, Ton Koopman, Giuliano Carmignola, Monica Hugget, Rachael Podger, Manfred Kraemer and Gustav Leonhardt. Numerous of his recordings have won major European awards (Diapason d'or, Choc de la Musique, etc.). At the age of 23, he began playing with the English Concert ensemble, directed by harpsichordist Trevor Pinnock, with which he gave concerts all over the world and participated in more than 20 recordings for Deutsche Grammophon. He has performed concerts at the Musikverein in Vienna, Philharmonie in Berlin, Royal Albert Hall in London, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, Schauspielhaus in Berlin, and Cologna Philharmonie. He has been a professor of Baroque Violin at the Novara Conservatory since 2012.<\/p>\n

Marco Ruggeri<\/strong> studied with G. Crema, E. Viccardi, G. Fabiano, N. Scibilia and M. Ghiglione at the Conservatories of Piacenza and Brescia, graduating in Organ (1989), Harpsichord (with highest marks, 1996) and Choir Conducting (2009). He studied Composition with P.Ugoletti; he specialized in Harpsichord with A. Marcon at the Schola Cantorum in Basel (1997-99). A prizewinner at the International Organ Competition in Bruges (1997), he won first prize at the International Organ Competition in S. Elpidio a Mare (1998) and the Concorso Clavicembalistico di Bologna (1997). After graduating cum laude in Musicology (University of Pavia, 1996), he devoted himself to the study of 19th-century Italian organ music and organbuilding. For the publisher Ricordi, he published \u201cMetodo per l'accompagnamento e il basso continuo\u201d in 2012. He has recorded for Tactus, Sony, Stradivarius, MV Cremona, La Bottega Discantica, Multimedia S. Paolo. He has recorded CDs with works by Father Davide da Bergamo (2 cds), Ponchielli ( 5 stars from \u00abMusica\u00bb magazine), G. B. Serini (on harpsichord), Mozart, Scarlatti, Petrali and Bossi. He has been teaching at the Novara Conservatory since 2000. In Cremona, he is deputy organist of the cathedral and owner of the 1877 Lingiardi organ-orchestra in the Church of S. Pietro al Po; he is a consultant for organ restorations in the diocese of Cremona and artistic director of the D. Diocesan School of Sacred Music. Caifa of Cremona.<\/p>\n

Lina Uinskyte <\/strong>graduated in Vilnius (Lithuania) from the \u201cM.K. Ciurlionis\u201d School of Art. In 1996 he won a scholarship at the International Musical Institute \u201cSanta Cecilia\u201d in Portogruaro (VE) where he continued and completed his studies with Pavel Vernikov. Decisive for his violin training and the development of sound quality turns out to be his meeting with violinist and director of the \u201cMoscow Virtuosi\u201d Vladimir Spivakov and in-depth studies with him at the \u201cMuraltengut\u201d in Zurich. Under the care of Jean-Jacques Kantorow and London Symphony sideman Gordan Nikolic, Lina Uinskyte earned her master's degree at the Rotterdam Conservatory. With Paul Roczek, she specialized as a soloist with orchestra at the \u201cConservatoire Royal de Musique\u201d in Brussels. At a very young age, she distinguished herself as a soloist with chamber orchestras at various international festivals in Austria and Germany. In 2001 she made her debut with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra in Brussels performing Tchaikovsky's concerto op. 35. For several years he collaborated with the \u201cCamerata di S. Cecilia\u201d in Rome. He performs concerts as a soloist and in unusual formations, meeting with the favor of audiences and critics. His repertoire ranges from Baroque (he has recorded, among others, Antonio Vivaldi's four sonatas for two violins \u201canco senza basso se piace\u201d) to contemporary music (remember his recent collaboration with the vocal ensemble \u201cSchola Heidelberg\u201d as soloist of the world premiere of Stefano Gervasoni's \u201cSe taccio, il duol s'avanza\u201d for violin and twelve solo voices, performed as part of \u201cMilano Musica\u201d \u201cTeatro alla Scala\u201d). He has been teaching violin at the Novara Conservatory of Music since 2011.<\/p>\n

Gloria Gili <\/strong>Di graduated in piano at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan with C Vidusso and perfected her studies with Maestros P.Sancan in Paris, P.N. Masi in Siena, A.Nasedkin in Zagreb. In 1978 the meeting with M\u00b0. Sergiu Celibidache marked the most important artistic turning point for the pianist and for 7 years she followed courses in Phenomenology of Music and Orchestral Conducting at the University of Munich and Mainz . Also in Germany she deepened her study of the lieder repertoire with M Price. He carries out intense concert activity in Italy and abroad as soloist and in piano duo and collaborates with various musicians in chamber formations: violin-pf, oboe-pf, wind quintet and with singers for the lieder repertoire. In addition to his concert activity, he combines a careful teaching activity, counting among his students numerous competition winners and concert performers.
