{"id":3886,"date":"2014-08-28T11:35:17","date_gmt":"2014-08-28T09:35:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=3886"},"modified":"2014-08-28T11:35:17","modified_gmt":"2014-08-28T09:35:17","slug":"people-dance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/3886\/news\/popolo-danza\/","title":{"rendered":"A DANCING PEOPLE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE <\/strong><strong>(28\/08\/2014)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, August 29,<\/strong> a <strong>Loano<\/strong>, in the\u2019<strong>Summer Arena Prince's Garden<\/strong>, to the<strong> 9:30 pm, <\/strong>the final stage of the <strong>seventh edition <\/strong>of the International Dance Competition <strong>\u201cA Dancing People\u201d <\/strong>\u00a0choreography and young talent competition.<\/p>\n<p>The competition will feature soloists, pas de deux and groups. Participants may bring on stage choreography belonging to any technique and style. The jury, composed of distinguished figures in the field of dance, will award a first, second and third place, a grand prix, two special mentions and a festival revelation prize for both the choreography competition and the young talents<\/p>\n<p>The evening is part of the<strong> twelfth <\/strong>editionof<strong> Labat Loano Dance<\/strong>, a dance festival sponsored by the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano <\/strong>Edited by master choreographer <strong>Gino Labate <\/strong>and by the dancer, teacher and choreographer<strong> Emanuela Campiciano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, August 30<\/strong>, in the\u2019<strong>Prince's Garden Summer Arena, <\/strong>at<strong> 21.30<\/strong>,the festival will close with the <strong>\u201cStars in Dance\u201d Grand Gala.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the evening there will be the presentation of the<strong> Grand Prix \u201cGiuliana Penzi\u201d 2014<\/strong> a <strong>Alexander Frola<\/strong>(Talent Award), <strong>Antonio Sisca<\/strong>(Talent Award), <strong>Carmen and Matilde Rubio<\/strong>(Lifetime Achievement Award), <strong>Osiel Gouneo<\/strong>(Lifetime Achievement Award), <strong>Rolando Sarabia<\/strong> (Lifetime Achievement Award), <strong>Venus Villa<\/strong> (Lifetime Achievement Award),<strong> Georgina Rigola<\/strong>(2014 Dance Promotion Award).<\/p>\n<p>International guests will take turns dancing on stage: <strong>Alexander Frola<\/strong> will perform the choreographies \u201cMagnificat\u201d and \u201cHarlequinade.\u201d, <strong>Antonio Sisca<\/strong> the choreography of the \u201c<strong>Bolero<\/strong>\u201d by Bejart, <strong>Ines Hellin Rubio and Jose Molina<\/strong> the Ballet Espanol de Murcia's repertoire of Carmen and Matilde Rubio, <strong>Chiara Fiaschi<\/strong> the solo from the Labat Dance Company's repertoire, <strong>Rolando Sarabia<\/strong> Don Quixote's variation, <strong>Vittorio Galloro<\/strong>\u00a0 e <strong>Arianne La Fita<\/strong>\u00a0 choreographer John Bliekendaal's \u201cRomance\u201d two-step and choreographer Ivanov-Petipa's \u201cSatanella\u201d two-step.<\/p>\n<p>Completing the evening's program will be a performance by the winners of the \u201c<strong>A Dancing People<\/strong>\u201d, interns and the <strong>Labat Dance Company<\/strong> composed of <strong>Diletta Della Martira, Maria Novella Della Martira and Francesca Capacci<\/strong> with choreography by <strong>Gino Labate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The evenings are at <strong>free admission<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PRESS RELEASE (08\/28\/2014) On Friday, August 29, the final round of the seventh International Dance Competition \u201cA People Who...<\/p>","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":3887,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-3886","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-news"},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/3886","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=3886"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/3886\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3887"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=3886"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=3886"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=3886"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
