He was also titular organist at Notre-Dame du Finist\u00e8re Church in Brussels between 1993 and 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The evening, sponsored by the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Loano<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>Brotherhood<\/strong><strong> of the Turks' Chapels <\/strong>fits into the program of the <strong>16th International Organ Festival<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019<strong>Rapallo Music Association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Xavier Deprez <\/strong>will perform pieces by<strong> Girolamo Frescobaldi<\/strong> (1583-1643), <strong>Dietrich Buxtehude<\/strong> (1637-1707)\u00a0, <strong>John De Macque<\/strong> (1550-1614), <strong>Johann Pachelbel<\/strong> (1653-1706), <strong>Johann Sebastian Bach<\/strong> (1685-1750), <strong>George Friedrich H\u00e4ndel<\/strong> (1685-1759), \u00a0<strong>Jean-Philippe Rameau <\/strong>(1683-1764).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Xavier Deprez<\/strong>, after completing his studies under Jean Boyer, Stanislas Deriemaeker and Jean Ferrard, won first prize at the AXION Classics Competition in Brussels and was a finalist in the First International \u201cG. Silbermann\u201d Competition in Freiberg.<br \/>\nHe has performed as organist in several European countries and Japan and collaborated as continuist with the baroque orchestra \u201cLes Agr\u00e9mens.\u201d He has recorded with the Namur Chamber Choir and Capella Sancta Michaelis Beno\u00eet Mernier's \u201cMissa Christi Regis Gentium\u201d and Chris Christoffels\u201c \u201dMissa Brevis\u201c and the CD \u201dBach ex cathedra\u201c on the \u201dGrenzing\u201c organ of the Brussels Co-Cathedral. His discography also includes improvisations on Gregorian themes and works by Maurice Durufl\u00e9 (Prelude and Fugue on Alain's Name and Requiem).
