{"id":3687,"date":"2014-08-05T09:52:40","date_gmt":"2014-08-05T07:52:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=3687"},"modified":"2014-08-05T09:52:40","modified_gmt":"2014-08-05T07:52:40","slug":"contemporary-dance-company-excursus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/3687\/news\/danza-contemporanea-compagnia-excursus\/","title":{"rendered":"CONTEMPORARY DANCE WITH THE EXCURSUS COMPANY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE (5\/08\/2014)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, August 7, <\/strong>a<strong> Loano<\/strong>, the <strong>dance review<\/strong> in the\u2019<strong>Prince's Garden Summer Arena<\/strong>, promoted by the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano <\/strong>eorganized by the<strong> I.So THeatre <\/strong>with the artistic direction of<strong> Luca Malvicini, <\/strong>will host at <strong>9:30 pm<\/strong> the show<strong> \u201cDies Festi\u201d <\/strong>of<strong> Excursus Company.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La <strong>Compgnia Excursus<\/strong>, founded in 1994 by Ricky Bonavita and Theodor Rawyler has built its own identity in the Italian contemporary dance scene, distinguished by dynamism and liveliness.<\/p>\n<p>The Excursus Company's vast repertoire gives space to the search for abstract formalism, the creation of dreamlike and symbolic universes, as well as the exploration of interpersonal relationships and themes related to the contemporary world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cDies Festi\u201d<\/strong> is located within this path. In this production, the choreographer <strong>Ricky Bonavita<\/strong> questions the possibilities of structuring and deconstructing one's own compositional language built up over time, further deepening the work on the performer to expand his or her register, in a process of subtle subversion and overturning of acquired structures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn holidays,\u201c the show's director's notes explain, \u201done transcends the everyday to enter a different space, bounded by time, in which to review relationships and rules. A suspended and rarefied initiation ritual projects five dancers into an abstract world governed by geometric disorder.
