Saturday, May 10<\/b>, a Loano<\/b>, will kick off the review \u201cIn Ode to Mary\u201d<\/b>, organized by the\u2019Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.<\/b><\/p>\n
\u201cWe renew the appointment with the sacred music festival \u201cIn Ode to Mary,\u201d - explains Councillor Remo Zaccaria<\/b> - which again this year will be itinerant and will touch the sacred places of the city. We propose a journey to discover the artistic treasures kept in Lovran's oratories and churches, accompanied by songs and praises to Mary for the Marian Month.\u201d<\/p>\n
Opening the festival will be a concert by the trio formed by Paola Arecco<\/b> on the piano, Gianni Gollo<\/b> on transverse flute and Claudia Murachelli<\/b> As a lead vocalist.<\/p>\n
At 8:30 pm<\/b>, in the\u2019Oratory of St. John the Baptist <\/b>(White Chapels), the proven trio will perform a repertoire of classical sung and instrumental pieces dedicated to the Virgin Mary.<\/p>\n
Surrounded by the four artistic processional crucifixes of Loano's oldest confraternity, the vocal and instrumental ensemble will perform the \u201cHail Mary<\/b>\u201d of the composers Franck, Caccini, Arcadelt, Gounod, Saint-Saens<\/b>, as well as classical and religious pieces by Massenet, Haendel, Frisina, Corelli, Verdi, Rossini<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The review will continue on May 17<\/b>, always at 8:30 pm<\/b>, <\/b>at Church of the Visitation<\/b> with the duo consisting of Alessia Privitera<\/b> on transverse flute and Gianpaolo Minuti <\/b>on the piano.<\/p>\n
This young pair of musicians from Savona will perform a repertoire of Marian compositions.<\/p>\n
The review will close on May 24, <\/b>in Mount Carmel Church with a concert by the Briozzo Duet<\/b>, <\/b>accompanied for the occasion by M\u00b0 finalese Paul Venturino<\/b>, pianist, organist, composer and choir director of the Savona Cathedral Sistine Chapel.{:}<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
