{"id":2151,"date":"2013-12-28T09:54:41","date_gmt":"2013-12-28T08:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=2040"},"modified":"2013-12-28T09:54:41","modified_gmt":"2013-12-28T08:54:41","slug":"waiting-for-new-year-shopping-tastings-occitan-dances-jazz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/2151\/news\/aspettando-capodanno-shopping-degustazioni-danze-occitane-jazz\/","title":{"rendered":"{:en}EASPECTING NEW YEAR'S EVE: SHOPPING, TASTING, OCCITAN DANCES AND JAZZ{:}"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{:en}<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b>PRESS RELEASE (12\/28\/2013)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Sunday, December 29<\/b>, a <b>Loano<\/b>, the calendar of events <b>\u201cChristmas Enchantments, <\/b>promoted by the\u2019<b>Department of Tourism Culture and Sports of the City of Loano, <\/b>will weave<b> <\/b>the party<b> <\/b><b>\u201cWaiting for New Year's Eve.\u201d, <\/b>music, shopping and tastings, organized by the\u2019<b>ASCOM Loano, <\/b>with<b> <\/b><b>\u201cTales of Winter - Dances and Music from Europe.\u201d<\/b>, organized by the\u2019<b>Society of the Curious Association <\/b>and the concert<b> <\/b><b>Jazz<\/b> \u201c<b>It's Christmas Time.\u201d.<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u201cWaiting for New Year\u201d <\/b>will enliven the shopping streets starting in the morning.<b> <\/b>\u00a0From <b>8.00<\/b>, under the arcades of <b>Europe Course <\/b>will be renewed the appointment with the <b>Antiques Market, <\/b>organized by the\u2019<b>Cultural and Recreational Association Events Free. <\/b>Exhibitors will present a selected collection of furniture, silver, paintings, rugs and objects with an antique flavor and full of charm. Curiosities and grandmother's things will find a place on the market, as well as all kinds of collectibles and modern items, following the fashion of recent times, which favors the vintage characteristic of our 60s and 70s.<\/p>\n<p>On<b> waterfront, <\/b>from <b>9 a.m. , in Maccagli Garden, <\/b>will be set up<b> The display of flowers and plants. <\/b>From <b>15.30<\/b> clothing and accessory stores will display discount merchandise outside their premises <b>\u201cAscom loyalty card\u201d<\/b> while public establishments and grocery stores will offer tasting of typical Christmas products (snacks and apericena).<\/p>\n<p>The afternoon will be enlivened by music in <b>Place Massena<\/b> and children's entertainment in <b>via Ghilini<\/b>. The band <b>Rumpe and Streppa<\/b> of Finale Ligure will perform a traveling concert in the historic center and on the waterfront. Also on the waterfront, in front of Bar Novecento, the cover band will play. <b>Vespus\u00f9rdu<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Always <b>Sunday, December 28<\/b>, will continue the second edition of <b>\u201cTales of Winter - Dances and Music from Europe.\u201d<\/b>. At<b> 14.30, <\/b>at <b>Kursaal Palace<\/b>,<b> Scarlett Cicero <\/b>will teach the basic steps of those<b> <\/b>which is probably the most popular Andalusian folkloric event<b>: Le Sevillanas<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>At <b>17.30<\/b>, <b>Scarlett Cicero <\/b>accompanied by the training<b> <\/b><b>Encuentro Mediterraneo <\/b>will move to <b>Italy Square<\/b>, where he will present a selection of choreography inspired by to the wide variety of styles that reflect both the different themes of the cante and the Sevillanas' ways of playing.
