The activities promoting tourism, cultural, sports and family initiatives promoted by the Municipal Administration of Loano ends on a positive note. Having launched the program of Christmas events, Mayor Luigi Pignocca<\/strong> and Councillor Remo Zaccaria<\/strong> They outline a report on 2013 activities.<\/p>\n \u201cThey are 360<\/b> initiatives that took place this year in our city. <\/i>- says the mayor Luigi Pignocca<\/b> – Thanks to collaboration with local associations, it was possible to offer residents and tourists a rich selection of activities. Despite the cuts, the events were again an important element of Lovran's tourist offer this year, thanks to an articulated and varied program, enriched by the events organized together with the city's economic categories, cultural and sports associations<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe focused on the idea, especially during the peak season, of transforming \u00a0<\/b>the city into a large tourist village with a differentiated proposal of events.<\/i> - explains Councillor Remo Zaccaria<\/b> – Within the cultural<\/b> have been organized 95 <\/b>initiatives: from book presentations to lectures, from theater performances to exhibitions, from traditional music festivals to sacred music in churches, from dance to opera.\u00a0 <\/i><\/p>\n They are 150<\/b> entertainment events that enlivened the city: concerts, theater for children, major events such as the \u201cWhite Night,\u201d markets, excursions to discover the area, dancing in the square. Only the Prince's Garden offered 34 evenings <\/b>of entertainment, ranging from d<\/b><\/i>anza, cabaret, cinema, children's theater and music.<\/i><\/b><\/i><\/p>\n The combination of Sports and Tourism has been the guideline of programming for the off-season periods: athletes, instructors, referees, managers, accompanying persons and the public are the subjects that have contributed to fueling the flow of tourism moved by sports events. And it is for this reason that we have promoted in collaboration with Loano associations well 78<\/b> major sports events.<\/i><\/p>\n Families were offered numerous opportunities for leisure time, also in cooperation with the Department of Social Services. <\/i>A common thread running through the programming was the theme of the \u201cquality of leisure time.\u201d. <\/b>In all, the following were proposed 37 initiatives<\/b>, with the aim of creating opportunities for socialization and exchange between adults and children, but also between parents<\/i>i.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cFinally<\/i>,-says the mayor Pignocca<\/b> – an extremely important figure is that of sponsorships, 110<\/b>, which we granted to associations.
