With her first author she recorded \u201cUn motivo maledetto,\u201d which attracted the attention of Dado Parisini, Raf's producer at the time, and CGD, which offered her a recording contract .<\/p>\n<p>In <b>1994<\/b> is at the Festival, in the Youth category, with \u201cFuori.\u201d Irene begins to collaborate with important authors: Eros Ramazzotti and Jovanotti write songs for her debut album \u201c<b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_irene.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Irene Grandi<\/a><\/b>\u201d.<br \/>\nIn <b>1995<\/b> comes <b>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_vacanza.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">On vacation for a lifetime<\/a>\u201d<\/b>: Irene confirms her success with \u201cBum Bum\u201d and the titletrack, which become among the most played songs on radio at that time. In the same year she appears in Pino Daniele's \u201cNon calpestare i fiori nel deserto,\u201d duetting on \u201cSe mi vuoi\u201d : the collaboration works so well that it also becomes a two-person tour.<br \/>\nIn <b>1996<\/b> she debuted as an actress together with Diego Abatantuono in Giovanni Veronesi's \u201cIl barbiere di Rio,\u201d for which she also sang \u201cFai come me,\u201d the title track of the soundtrack. This will not be Irene's only extra-musical experimentation: in 2004, she will get back into the game in front of the cameras, to host Festivalbar.<\/p>\n<p>In <b>1997<\/b> Irene returns to music with third album <b>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_fortuna.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fortunately, unfortunately<\/a>\u201d: <\/b>is a definite step forward artistically, with musical experimentation combining with melodies such as that of \u201cWhat a Life It Is,\u201d a single topping radio airplay for more than a month.<\/p>\n<p>In <b>1999<\/b> comes out <b>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_verderossoblu.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Green Red and Blue<\/a>\u201d<\/b>, fourth album followed by a return to San Remo in the <b>2000<\/b>, obviously among the Bigs. Writing for Irene the song for the Festival are none other than Vasco Rossi and Gaetano Curreri: \u201cLa tua ragazza sempre\u201d ranks second; the song, included in the re-release of \u201cVerde Rosso e Blu,\u201d allows the record to return to the top of the sales charts. Irene turned to rock but continued to demonstrate her versatility with prestigious performances, such as at Pavarotti &amp; Friends and the Montreux Jazz Festival.<\/p>\n<p>In <b>2001<\/b> greatest hits comes out <b>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_irek.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Irek<\/a>\u201d<\/b>, which takes stock of the first part of Irene's career, looking ahead with the two unreleased songs \u201cPer fare l'amore\u201d and \u201cSconvolto cos\u00ec.\u201d The same year she enchanted a hundred thousand people at the Heineken Jammin\u2019 Festival in Imola, opening for her friend Vasco.<\/p>\n<p>It continues, in the<b> 2003,<\/b> the<b> <\/b>collaboration with Vasco and Gaetano Curreri: the two signed \u201cPrima di partire per un lungo viaggio,\u201d and the production of two other songs from the fifth album \u201c<b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_partire.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Before leaving<\/a>\u201d<\/b>, \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d and \u201cI Want a Lullaby.\u201d The album is taken on tour during the summer, debuting on July 5 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, again as a special guest of Vasco.<\/p>\n<p>The <b>2006<\/b> is the year of the break, dedicated to world travel on behalf of humanitarian associations, to which Irene lends a concrete hand. During a trip to Africa she meets Yossoun N'Dour: together also with Patti Smith and Francesco Renga she records his \u201cBirima.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>After the good experience as the host of Festivalbar in the <b>2004,<\/b> Irene confirms in the <b>2005<\/b> his rock vein matured over years of concerts: sixth album released <b>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_indelebile.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indelible<\/a>\u201d.<\/b> \u201cLet Her Go,\u201d the single, is presented live at the May Day concert.<\/p>\n<p>The return to music comes with a reinterpretation of Battisti's \u201cUno in pi\u00f9\u201d for the tribute album \u201cInnocenti evasioni.\u201d The rediscovery of Italian song continues in the double album <b>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_hits.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">irenegrandi.hits<\/a>\u201d<\/b> of <b>2007;<\/b> is much more than a collection: there are reinterpretations of songs brought to success by Mina (\u201cSono come tu mi vuoi\u201d) and Bruno Martino (\u201cEstate\u201d), acoustic versions of her historical songs, a collaboration with jazz pianist Stefano Bollani. But above all, an author from the new Italian rock scene appears on the record: Francesco Bianconi of Baustelle, who writes \u201cBurn the City\u201d for her. The song was rejected at the selections for the Sanremo Festival, but it became the song of the summer and won the 2007 Radio Award<b> <\/b>of the last edition of Festivalbar, adding another trophy to a successful career.<br \/>\nAfter a tour that sees her starring, for the first time, in major Italian theaters, and after the release of the biography \u201cDiario di una cattiva ragazza\u201d - written together with Massimo Cotto for Mondadori - <b>November 28, 2008<\/b> goes out \u201c<b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_natale.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Songs for Christmas<\/a>\u201d. <\/b>Irene brings the international tradition of Christmas records to Italy: on the album she alternates between rereading themed classics and other lesser-known and more humorous \u201cseasonal\u201d songs, singing in Italian and English.<\/p>\n<p>June 21 <b>2009<\/b> Irene participates in the benefit concert at San Siro \u201cAmiche per l'Abruzzo,\u201d duetting on her own songs, songs by her colleagues and international classics (\u201cBlowing in the wind\u201d by Bob Dylan) and Italian ones (\u201cIl mio canto libero\u201d by Battisti-Mogol). A few months later she duets with Claudio Baglioni on \u201cUna faccia pulita,\u201d a reworking of the historic song from \u201cQuesto piccolo grande amore,\u201d included in the new version \u201cQ.P.G.A.\u201d<br \/>\nIn <b>2010 <\/b>Irene returns to Sanremo after 10 years. She brings a song, \u201cLa cometa di Halley,\u201d written by Francesco Bianconi, thus reviving that successful collaboration already undertaken with \u201cBruci la citt\u00e0\u201d . The song anticipates the new album, <b>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.irenegrandi.it\/disco_sogno.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">At the gates of the dream<\/a>\u201d<\/b>, the first of unreleased songs in almost 5 years. Irene is now artistic co-producer together with Pio Stefanini, and coauthor of almost all the songs.
