The singer-songwriter, who has won two editions of the Sanremo Festival (one in February with Blanco), has announced new concert dates for his tour this summer after successes in Paris, Lausanne, London, and Madrid. Loano will be one of the stops on his tour. Mahmood will arrive Saturday, Aug. 27 at 9:30 p.m. in Italy Square<\/strong> thanks to the City of Loano and Strobe Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Less than two months after his second participation in the\u2019Eurovision Song Contest<\/strong> (Turin, Italy, May 10-14, 2022) and fresh from his success at the 72nd Sanremo Festival, where he won with \u201cBrividi\u201d with Blanco, the most listened to song ever in one day on Spotify Italy with 3,384,192 streams in just 24 hours after release and certified triple platinum, Mahmood will open his summer tour on July 7 at the Cavea Parco Della Musica in Rome. He will then touch virtually all of Italy to arrive at Loano on Aug. 27<\/strong> for a concert that will give strong emotions<\/strong>. Among the songs with which Mahmood will perform on stage are not only the highly successful unreleased songs from his latest album \u201cGhettolimpo<\/strong>\u201d and the Sanremese \u201cShivers<\/strong>\u201d, but also some of the most beloved hits from his less recent record projects, such as \u201cBurnt Youth\u201d and the single \u201cDorado,\u201d featuring Sfera Ebbasta and Feid. Twenty-nine years old, Alexander Mahmoud, aka Mahmood<\/strong>, with a Sardinian mother and an Egyptian father, soon established himself on the Italian music scene, although decisive was his participation in the Sanremo Festival<\/strong> of 2019<\/strong>, which he won with the song \u201cMoney.\u201d Perhaps few remember him instead for his participation in \u201cX Factor<\/strong>\u201d. It was 2012, in fact, when Mahmood participated in the sixth edition of the talent show in the category \u201c16-24 Men\u201d captained by Simona Ventura. Initially he was rejected by the same host at the \u201cHomevisits,\u201d then the repechage by televoting and finally the elimination during the third episode. And it was after this TV experience that he began to write and produce his own pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahmood is an artist full of talent and has managed to come to the attention of the public and critics with his voice but also with his style. In fact, the singer is considered an icon, so clothing has no rules but only follows personal taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahmood to date has 12 platinum and 9 gold records in Italy, 6 platinum and 3 gold records abroad and has nearly 1.5 billion total streams under his belt. He published the comic book \u201cGhettolimpo - On the Paths of the Soul\u201d with Mondadori.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
