The youth center \u201cThe Invisible Cities\u201d will again this year host courses, workshops and aggregation activities for young people aged 14 to 26. Vice Mayor and Councillor for Youth Policies Luca Lettieri explains, \u201cThe courses, workshops and many activities at the youth center represent a concrete response to the need of young people to have a place of aggregation and training opportunities. For more than 10 years now, youth policies at Loano have been the result of a process that personally involves young people and gives them representation and power in the choices that affect the youth community.\u201d.<\/p>\n
Information and registration will be available on March 2 and 3 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at Kursaal Palace. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.<\/p>\n
In the program of proposals for young people in the area, there are well-established activities such as music courses and new initiatives such as \u201cStress-o-Magazine,\u201d a youth magazine of artistic and cultural popularization, the editorial staff of which will be created as a result of four training workshops. In addition, as part of the proposals for aggregation activities, the \u201cRole-playing Games\u201d project will continue, and with \u201cService Stations\u201d instead, workshops will be offered to students of the \u201cGiovanni Falcone\u201d high school and the Mazzini-Ramella secondary school.<\/p>\n
In the area of music, three tracks will be offered: the \u201cMusic Lab Academy,\u201d which provides courses in guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, vocal coaching and will be preparatory to the ensemble music workshop \u201cMusic Lab Band,\u201d which aims to teach young people to play together and start a musical ensemble. Finally, new this year will be the \u201cMusic Cyber Lab,\u201d which offers the study of music composition and arrangement with software used in the world of record production.<\/p>\n
The \u201cStress-o-Magazine\u201d project aims to bring to life a magazine for cultural and artistic promotion by providing interested young people with four short training workshops on the topics: journalism, creative writing, photography and graphic design. The workshop on graphic design will be organized in cooperation with the \u201cGiovanni Falcone\u201d Institute of Loano and aimed at the layout of the magazine.<\/p>\n
The \u201cRole-playing Games\u201d project, this year in its second year, is part of the aggregation activities and will involve children in creating and sharing fantastic or verisimilar stories. Through a guided course, participants will be able to develop their creativity and improve interpersonal relationships. The group will also engage in the creation of an adventure module that will collect the stories told in the game sessions so that others can then replay them.
