{"id":10724,"date":"2017-09-01T10:29:04","date_gmt":"2017-09-01T08:29:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=10724"},"modified":"2017-09-01T10:29:04","modified_gmt":"2017-09-01T08:29:04","slug":"concert-baroque-polyphonic-choir-city-loano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/10724\/news\/concerto-barocco-coro-polifonico-citta-loano\/","title":{"rendered":"{:it}BAROQUE CONCERT - POLYPHONIC CHORUS CITTA\u2019 DI LOANO{:}"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{:en}<strong>PRESS RELEASE (1\/09\/2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, September 2<\/strong>, a\u00a0<strong>Loano<\/strong>, the <strong>City of Loano Polyphonic Choir <\/strong>Will present the summer 2017 concert.<\/p>\n<p>The musical evening, organized by the\u2019<strong>Loanese Music Association <\/strong>under the auspices of the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano<\/strong> will take place in the\u2019<strong>Oratory St. John the Baptist <\/strong>(White Hoods), to the <strong>9 p.m.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The concert of sacred baroque music will open with \u201c<strong>Magnificat\u201d by J. Packelbel <\/strong>(1653-1706).<\/p>\n<p>This will be followed by the performance of <em>Psalmus \u201cNisi Dominus\u201d from Vepres \u00e0 la Vierge<\/em> by<strong> M. A. Charpentier <\/strong>(1643-1704), <em>Jesu Dulcis Memoria<\/em> by <strong>T.L. From Victoria <\/strong>(1548-1611), <em>Confitebor Tibi Domine <\/em>by <strong>F. Spagnoli <\/strong>(1635-1704), <em>Rondo in G major<\/em> by <strong>G. Gherardeschi <\/strong>(1759-1815).<\/p>\n<p>The musical evening will close with the <em>Magnificat<\/em> by <strong>A. Vivaldi <\/strong>(1678-1741).<\/p>\n<p>The choir will be accompanied on the organ by <strong>William Vivino<\/strong> and directed by the <strong>Master Mattia Pelosi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019<strong>Loanese Music Association <\/strong>promotes initiatives aimed at spreading musical culture by organizing concerts and listening guides.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>City of Loano Polyphonic Choir<\/strong>, directed by Maestro Mattia Pelosi, is composed of a <strong>twenty or so choristers<\/strong> who share the pleasure of singing.
