{"id":10645,"date":"2017-08-28T09:27:08","date_gmt":"2017-08-28T07:27:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=10645"},"modified":"2017-08-28T09:27:08","modified_gmt":"2017-08-28T07:27:08","slug":"10645","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/10645\/news\/10645\/","title":{"rendered":"{:it}TURCHINI CONCERTS{:}"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{:en}<strong>PRESS RELEASE (08\/25\/2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, August 28<\/strong>, a <strong>Loano, <\/strong>in the\u2019<strong>Oratory of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary (Turchini)<\/strong>, the second concert of the musical season of the <strong>\u201cThe Turchini Concerts, <\/strong>organized by the <strong>Brotherhood<\/strong><strong> of the Turks' Chapels<\/strong> under the auspices of the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At <strong>9 p.m.<\/strong> the review <strong>\u201cThe Musics of the Soul.\u201d <\/strong>will host the duo<strong> Lina Uinskyte<\/strong> (violin) and<strong> Marco Ruggeri <\/strong>(organ).<\/p>\n<p>The concert program will range among different composers. The duo will perform <em>excerpts <\/em>by <em>The Modern Organ <\/em>by <strong>Carlo Andrea Gambini<\/strong> (1819-1865), <em>Adagio and Variations on a Theme by Bellini <\/em>by <strong>Eugene Cavallini<\/strong> (1806-1881), <em>Antique-style suite<\/em> (Moderato, Ballet, Minuet, Fugue, Pantomime) by. <strong>Alfred Schnittke<\/strong> (1934-1998), <em>Martial sounding <\/em>by <strong>P. Davide from Bergamo<\/strong> (1791-1863)<em>, Violin Concerto No. 5 op. 42 <\/em>(Allegro maestoso, Prayer, Finale) by. <strong>Antonio Bazzini<\/strong> (1818-1897).<\/p>\n<p>Born in 2012, the duo <strong>Uinskyte - Ruggeri<\/strong> addresses composers from the Baroque to the 20th century, ranging between original pieces and transcriptions for piano or orchestra. And it is the latter repertoire that is of greatest interest to the duo, which is seeking new concert repertoires by exploiting the timbral and orchestral potential of the organ.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lina Uinskyte<\/strong> e<strong> Marco Ruggeri <\/strong>have <strong>participated in i<\/strong><strong>mportant reviews in Italy and abroad.<\/strong>: Cremona (Museum of the Violin), International Organ Festival of Arona, International Organ Review of Valmaggiore (CH), Trento Philharmonic Society, Organ Festival of Loano, Antegnati Festival of Brescia and Bellinzona (CH), Palazzina di caccia di Stupinigi, Classical Music Festival of Corsanico (Lu), Orgues et montagnes de l'Alpe d'Huez (F), S. Giacomo Festival in Bologna, Festival Organalia in Turin, Festival Orchestre nascoste in Trapani, Festival de Chaource (F), etc.<\/p>\n<p>Intense is also <strong>recording activity<\/strong>, both on organ and harpsichord, for Italian (Elegia) and foreign (Fugatto eBrilliant) labels. The Duo has obtained <strong>important awards<\/strong> of critics, including \u201c5 stars\u201d Radio Classica (December 2014) for \u201cThe Four Seasons\u201d and \u201c5 stars\u201d from Amadeus magazine (December 2015) for the CD \u201cThe Lingiardi orchestraorgan...for a violin.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lina Uinskyte<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Born in Vilnius (Lithuania), she graduated from the \u201cM. K. Ciurlionis\u201d School of Art in the same city. She later specialized with P. Vernikov at the International Music Institute \u201cS. Cecilia\u201d in Portogruaro, with violinist and director of the \u201cMoscow Virtuosi\u201d V. Spivakov at the \u201cMuraltengut\u201d in Zurich, with P. Roczek (as soloist with orchestra) at the \u201cConservatoire Royal de Musique\u201d in Brussels, with R. Filippini and B. Canino (for chamber music) at the \u201cCampus Internazionale di Musica\u201d in Sermoneta. Under the guidance of masters J. J. Kantorow and G. Nikolic, he received his Master's Degree at the Rotterdam Conservatory.<\/p>\n<p>He made his debut as a soloist in Brussels in 2001 performing Tchaikovsky's concerto op. 35 with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra. He carries out an intense concert activity (recent is his participation in the contemporary music season of Teatro La Fenice in Venice) in Italy and abroad. He is a lecturer at the Conservatorio \u201cL. Marenzio\u201d in Darfo Boario (BS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Marco Ruggeri<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Born in Cremona in 1969, he studied with G. Crema, E. Viccardi, G. Fabiano, N. Scibilia, P. Ugoletti and M. Ghiglione at the Conservatories of Piacenza and Brescia, graduating in Organ, Harpsichord and Choir Direction. He specialized with A. Marcon at the Schola Cantorum in Basel. Awarded at the Bruges Organ Competition, he won 1st prize at the Bologna Harpsichord Competition (1997). Graduated cum laude in Musicology (Pavia), he has published the organ works of A. Ponchielli, the Catalogue of the Musical Fund of P. Davide da Bergamo (Ed. Olschki) and a Manuale di Basso continuo (Ricordi). He has recorded CDs with works by P. Davide da Bergamo, A. Ponchielli (\u201cMusica eccezionale,\u201d magazine \u201cMusica\u201d), G. B. Serini, W. A. Mozart, M. E. Bossi and V. Petrali (Brilliant, Tactus, MV Cremona, La Bottega Discantica).<\/p>\n<p>He teaches at the Novara Conservatory and the Diocesan School of Sacred Music in Brescia. In Cremona he is deputy organist of the cathedral and owner of the Lingiardi 1877 organ in S.
