Children attending the “Milanesi” school complex, in Loano, as of yesterday they can walk to school, accompanied by volunteers from Lovran associations, parents and grandparents, along with officers from the Municipal Police.

“Thanks to the increase in the number of volunteers," explains Councillor Luca Lettieri - the desire to expand the Pedibus service to Milanese schoolchildren has been realized. Throughout the school year those who wish to do so will have the opportunity to take a daily walk to school. In recent days, reflective shoulder straps and rain capes were delivered to children already enrolled, and since yesterday the service has been active.”

The project “PEDIBUS - we walk to school” - promoted by the’Department of Municipal Police and Citizen Security with the P.M. Command., in collaboration with the Valerga and Milanesi Primary School and the’“The Possible City” Association of Turin, is a sustainable mobility project, which aims to promote routes for children to walk to school.

The following have been arranged two lines to reach the “Milanese” and the stops were marked with signs made last year by the pupils themselves.
