{"id":6684,"date":"2016-02-26T08:11:34","date_gmt":"2016-02-26T07:11:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=6684"},"modified":"2016-02-26T08:11:34","modified_gmt":"2016-02-26T07:11:34","slug":"palio-of-municipalities-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/6684\/news\/palio-dei-comuni-2\/","title":{"rendered":"PALIO OF MUNICIPALITIES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE (24\/2\/2016)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, February 28<\/strong>, a <strong>Loano<\/strong>, the <strong><em>Palio Dei Comuni <\/em><\/strong>will close the <strong>25th edition<\/strong> of <strong>Carneval\u00f6a<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019<strong>Old Loano Association <\/strong>with contributions from the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Loano.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The second parade of 2016 will see competition between floats from the cities of <strong>Bardino Vecchio<\/strong> (Ghostbuster), <strong>Borghetto S.S<\/strong>. (Jeeg Robot of Steel)<strong> Varazze<\/strong> (The Cossacks), <strong>Albenga<\/strong> (Los Volos - Los Tres Tenores), <strong>Rione S. Giovanni Albenga<\/strong> (The Tale of Peter Pan), <strong>Justenice<\/strong> (Sheep Life). For <strong>Loano<\/strong> The winner of the Palio dei Borghi, Dragon Trainer and Masha and The Bear will compete (<strong>Fortress Square<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Out of competition all the other Palio dei Borghi floats will also parade: <strong>The tree of life<\/strong> (Stella Street Rossello Schools Loano), <strong>Arlo's journey<\/strong> (The Priglians), <strong>The Minions<\/strong> (I Mazzocchi I Mattetti Burdellusi), <strong>Star Wars<\/strong> (The Meceti), <strong>Speedy Gonzales<\/strong> (Maina de L\u00f6a - Cafe \u2018900, Class Cafe, Ice Cream Frozen), <strong>Kung Fu Panda<\/strong> (Borgo di Dentro).<\/p>\n<p>Opening the parade, at <strong>3 p.m.<\/strong>, will be as is tradition the<strong> Carnival King<\/strong>, the official mask of Carneval\u00f6a<strong><em> \u201cU\u2019 Beciancin<\/em><\/strong> On its flaming <strong>Becians Car<\/strong>.
