Loano<\/strong> will welcome, Saturday, January 30<\/strong>, the Grand Parade of Masks<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019Old Loano Association <\/strong>with contributions from the\u2019Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than Three hundred figures<\/strong> in costume will participate in the ceremony of handing over the key to the city of Loano, by the mayor, Luigi Pignocca<\/strong> a \u201cBecianc\u00ecn\u201d<\/strong> (official mask of the Carneval\u00f6a<\/strong>), <\/strong>which will kick off the CarnevaL\u00f6a 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

More than 40<\/strong> Carnival delegations from all over Italy.<\/p>\n

The meeting and start of the parade will be in Italy Square<\/strong>. At 3 p.m.<\/strong>, after the presentation of the participating masks and groups, the ceremony of handing over the keys to the city will take place. \u201cU beciancin\u201d<\/strong> will be accompanied by \u201cPu\u00e8 Pepin\u201d<\/strong> (King of the Loano carnival) and by Captain Fracassa, <\/strong>Ligurian mask of the Italian commedia dell'arte.
\nAt 4 p.m.<\/strong> parade is announced, which will run through the streets of downtown with musical accompaniment from the \u201cSbanday Street Band\u201d by Loano<\/strong>. The party will close at 6 p.m. in Italy Square<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Invited to the parade were the national masks<\/strong>: Balanzone<\/strong> (Bologna), Italy and the Charlot<\/strong> (Hundred), Bergamasque Harlequin<\/strong> (Bergamo), Sandrone, Pulonia and Sgorghiguelo<\/strong> (Modena), Al Ds\u00e8vod<\/strong> (Parma), Dumpling Dad<\/strong> (Verona), Gianduja<\/strong> (Turin), the Bicciolano and the Bela Majin <\/strong>(Vercelli) and Burlamacco <\/strong>(Viareggio).<\/p>\n
