{"id":5658,"date":"2015-08-03T10:02:39","date_gmt":"2015-08-03T08:02:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=5658"},"modified":"2015-08-03T10:02:39","modified_gmt":"2015-08-03T08:02:39","slug":"torch-night-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/5658\/news\/fiaccole-notte-3\/","title":{"rendered":"TORCHES IN THE NIGHT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE (3\/08\/2015)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Aug. 4,<\/strong> a <strong>Loano<\/strong>, accomplice to the good marine weather forecast, the initiative will take place. <strong>Torches in the night<\/strong>, organized by the <strong>S.I.B. of Loano<\/strong> (Italian Bathing Union) under the sponsorship of the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports <\/strong>and of the\u2019<strong>State Property Department of the City of Loano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event, postponed last week due to heavy seas, will keep to the announced schedule. Kicking off the event at sea will be at <strong>8 p.m.<\/strong>, on the beach of the <strong>Medusa Baths<\/strong>, rescue simulations by dogs from the SICS (Italian School of Rescue Dogs) school.<\/p>\n<p>After rehearsals by four-legged rescuers, the evening will continue with demonstrations by lifeguards from the <strong>S.I.B. of Loano <\/strong>who will simulate rescue operations at sea.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting live on what will happen on the beach will be stand-up comedian <strong>Renzo Sinacori.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At <strong>21.45<\/strong>, the <strong>sea will light up<\/strong>. It will be the lifeguards on the lifeboats who will light the torches that will make the sea glow.
