{"id":3546,"date":"2014-07-30T09:32:31","date_gmt":"2014-07-30T07:32:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=3546"},"modified":"2014-07-30T09:32:31","modified_gmt":"2014-07-30T07:32:31","slug":"cristiano-de-andre-in-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/3546\/news\/cristiano-de-andre-in-concerto\/","title":{"rendered":"CRISTIANO DE ANDR\u00c8 IN CONCERT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE <\/strong><strong>(30\/07\/2014)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, August 2<\/strong>, will stop in <strong>Loano<\/strong>, the summer tour of <strong>Cristiano De Andr\u00e8, <\/strong>promoted by the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano <\/strong>and organized by the<strong> I.So THeatre.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At <strong>9:30 pm<\/strong>,\u00a0 <strong>Cristiano De Andr\u00e9 <\/strong>will be in concert in the\u2019<strong>Prince's Garden Summer Arena<\/strong> with<strong> \u201cWay of Mutual Love - Live Tour 2014.\u201d, <\/strong>which marks the artist's live return after winning the <strong>64th Sanremo Festival<\/strong> of the Critics\u201c Award \u201dMia Martini\" and the award <em>\u201c<\/em>Sergio Bardotti\u201d for best lyrics, with the song \u201cInvisibili.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cristiano De Andr\u00e9 <\/strong>will perform on the Loano stage his hits(from \u201cBehind the Door\u201d to \u201cThings I Forget\u201d)and songs from his latest album<strong> \u201cAs in heaven so in war <\/strong>(Special edition)\u201d(from \u201cInvisibili\u201d to \u201cIl cielo \u00e8 vuota\u201d to \u201cNon \u00e8 una favola\u201d), as well as some of Faber's masterpieces that have now become part of Cristiano's live repertoire(from \u201cIl pescatore\u201d to \u201cCreuza de ma,\u201d to \u201cLa canzone dell'amore perduto\u201d), in a concert that promises to be full of intense emotions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On the tour, multi-instrumentalist Cristiano De Andr\u00e9 <\/strong>will be accompanied by<strong> Osvaldo Di Dio<\/strong> (guitars), <strong>Massimo Ciaccio <\/strong>(bass)<strong> and Davide Devito<\/strong> (battery).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cAs in Heaven so in War (Special edition)\u201d<\/strong> (Nuvole Production\/Universal Music Italia)is the reissue of Cristiano De Andr\u00e9's album released in 2013, and also contains the two songs presented at the 64th Sanremo Festival \u201cInvisibili \u201dand \u201cIl cielo \u00e8 vuoto.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is the tracklist<\/strong>: \u201cInvisibles,\u201d \u201cThe Sky is Empty,\u201d \u201cNot a Fairy Tale,\u201d \u201cDrawings in the Wind,\u201d \u201cBelieve Us,\u201d \u201cMy Being Good,\u201d \u201cThe Wind Will Blow,\u201d \u201cNaive and Romantic,\u201d \u201cBlood of My Blood,\u201d \u201cLiving,\u201d \u201cTiredness,\u201d and \u201cThe Dumpster Doll.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Released 12 years after \u201cScaramante\u201d and after the extraordinary success of \u201cDe Andr\u00e9 sings De Andr\u00e9 vol. 1 &amp; 2,\u201d \u201c<strong>As in heaven so in war<\/strong>\u201d is characterized by a great deal of research work, both on words and sounds. To record it, Cristiano flew all the way to California, to Berkeley, where he recorded in the legendary Fantasy Studios entrusting the production and arrangements to Corrado Rustici, who masterfully enriched the songs with world scents and enveloping sounds that enhance lyrics full of meaning and pathos. He availed himself of the collaboration of a well-rehearsed team of musicians: bassist and drummer, Kaveh Rastegar and Michael Urbano, who by now enjoy a fair amount of popularity even in Italy for being Ligabue's rhythm section; while the pianist is a session man of clear renown already working alongside the likes of Sting, Stevie Wonder, Elton John and the late Whitney Houston. Cristiano has played violin, bouzouki and acoustic guitar.<\/p>\n<p>The songs that make up \u201cCome in cielo cos\u00ec in guerra\u201d (the unreleased tracks plus the Italian version of Noir D\u00e9sir's \u201cLe vent nous portera\u201d) are direct and immediate, and they strike from the first listen. But with each subsequent listen, one discovers an unprecedented detail, a nuance, a sound that was missed the first time around.<\/p>\n<p>The title of the record is a way of saying enough is enough to the too many distortions that characterize our society. Enough of castes, dishonest people, a certain kind of corrupt politics, the distortions of globalization. Cristiano talks about the difficulty of living: his own, telling us about his inner torments with wide autobiographical glimpses (\u201cDrawings in the Wind,\u201d \u201cMy Being Good,\u201d \u201cNaive and Romantic,\u201d \u201cBlood of My Blood,\u201d \u201cLiving\u201d), and more generally broadening the view to what is happening in the society around us.
