{"id":3434,"date":"2014-07-17T08:44:41","date_gmt":"2014-07-17T06:44:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=3434"},"modified":"2014-07-17T08:44:41","modified_gmt":"2014-07-17T06:44:41","slug":"return-to-the-carmen-opera","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/3434\/news\/ritorno-allopera-carmen\/","title":{"rendered":"RETURN TO THE OPERA: CARMEN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PRESS RELEASE <\/strong><strong>(16\/07\/2014)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, July 17, <\/strong>in the\u2019<strong>Prince's Garden Summer Arena, at Loano <\/strong>will kick off the exhibition dedicated to opera,promoted by the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano <\/strong>and organized by the<strong> I.So THeatre.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At<strong> 9:30 pm, <\/strong>l\u2019<strong>Return to the Opera Association <\/strong>will present \u201c<strong>Selected pages from the opera Carmen\u201d <\/strong>by Georges Bizet, to a libretto by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Hal\u00e9vy.<\/p>\n<p>An opera in four acts, \u201c<strong>Carmen<\/strong>\u201d was first staged in 1875, breaking the tradition of the genre and provoking a cold reaction from the audience.
