{"id":11366,"date":"2017-12-27T11:09:20","date_gmt":"2017-12-27T10:09:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=11366"},"modified":"2017-12-27T11:09:20","modified_gmt":"2017-12-27T10:09:20","slug":"31-winter-swimming-cimento","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/11366\/news\/31-cimento-invernale-nuoto\/","title":{"rendered":"{:en}31st WINTER SWIMMING CEMENT{:}"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{:en}<strong>PRESS RELEASE (12\/27\/2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, December 28<\/strong>, as is now tradition, on the beach of <strong>Loano<\/strong> will gather numerous tryouts, veterans and beginners, to participate in the end-of-year plunge.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>31\u00b0<\/strong> <strong>Winter Swimming Tournament<\/strong>, promoted by the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano<\/strong> In collaboration with ATI S.L.A. (Equipped Free Beaches) the <strong>Italian Bathing Union of Loano<\/strong>, the<strong> Italian Swimming Federation Lifeguarding<\/strong>, the <strong>Coast Guard of Loano<\/strong>, will take place in the stretch of water in front of the <strong>Medusa Baths<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Professional swimmers will be arriving from all over Liguria and northern Italy, who will test themselves by facing the winter sea for a dip of a few seconds or, for the more trained, a ten-minute dip.<\/p>\n<p>Registration will be kicked off at 10 a.m. The plunge is announced at 11:00 am.<\/p>\n<p>The seaside party will be enlivened by the DJ-set, which, with a rich lineup of music, will set the pace for the dyemen engaged in the warm-up activity conducted by the instructors of A.S.D.
