{"id":11361,"date":"2017-12-19T17:55:38","date_gmt":"2017-12-19T16:55:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/?p=11361"},"modified":"2017-12-19T17:55:38","modified_gmt":"2017-12-19T16:55:38","slug":"books-lalbero-poetry-music-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.visitloano.it\/en\/11361\/news\/libri-lalbero-poesia-musica-2\/","title":{"rendered":"{:en} BOOKS UNDER THE TREE - POETRY AND MUSIC{:}"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{:en}<strong>PRESS RELEASE (12\/21\/2017)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, December 23<\/strong>, a <strong>Loano<\/strong>, <strong>Graziella Frasca Gallo<\/strong> and the <strong>Master Roberto Sinito<\/strong> will be the protagonists of the review <strong>Books under the tree<\/strong>, promoted by the\u2019<strong>Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>Mondadori Bookstore of Loano.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>At <strong>4:30 p.m.<\/strong>, in the <strong>Civic Library<\/strong>, the curator of the review <strong>Graziella Frasca Gallo <\/strong>will lead the audience through emotions and feelings, told in verse by famous authors and lesser-known poets.<\/p>\n<p>The afternoon will open with the poem \u201cThe Shawms\u201d by <strong>Giovanni Pascoli<\/strong> which will bring back memories of that \u2019poor man's organ\u201d played at Christmas time by pipers. This will be followed by \u201dThe Quiet After the Storm\u201c by <strong>Giacomo Leopardi<\/strong>, \u201cThe Lemons\u201d by <strong>Eugene Montale<\/strong>, \u201cThe Christmas Wizard\u201d by <strong>Gianni Rodari<\/strong> and \u201cJe suis\u201d by <strong>Daniela Prince<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A selection of aphorisms by great figures such as P<strong>avese, franklin, mann, bukowski, mother teresa, gramsci<\/strong> will lead to the second part of the meeting dedicated especially to local authors. \u201cClouds over the Sea\u201d and \u201cDream\u201d will guide the audience into the poetic world of <strong>Katia<\/strong>. This will be followed by two poems by <strong>Pieralba Merlo<\/strong> (Radici, La via del sale) and two lyrics praising love (Lungo l'argine, Sola alla Marina) by <strong>Angela Merlo<\/strong>.
