Enzo Avitabile <\/strong>and the Bottari <\/strong>will close venerd\u00ec 28 luglio<\/strong>, a Loano<\/strong>, the 13th edition of the City of Loano National Award for Italian Traditional Music<\/strong>, organized by the\u2019Society of the Curious Association <\/strong>in collaboration with the\u2019Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Loano<\/strong>, under the artistic direction of John Vignola<\/strong>, the contribution of the A. Foundation De Mari<\/strong> and the sponsorship of the\u2019ANCI<\/strong> and of the Liguria Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Il programma dell\u2019ultima giornata del festival prender\u00e0 il via nel pomeriggio alle ore 18.00<\/strong> in the Nassiriya Fallen Gardens<\/strong> l\u2019appuntamento con il \u201cPrize Meet...<\/strong><\/em>\u201d vedr\u00e0 la presenza dello <\/em>historian, researcher and music critic Alexander Portelli<\/strong>, dell\u2019editore Valter Colle<\/strong> (Note) and musician Serhat Akbal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al centro dell\u2019incontro ci sar\u00e0 \u201cCrossroads: crossroads.\u201d<\/strong>, la collana diretta e curata dallo stesso Portelli, che investiga i suoni\u00a0delle nuove migrazioni, documentati da registrazioni \u201csul campo\u201d\u00a0e testimoni di uno straordinario intreccio di diversit\u00e0 e nuove\u00a0contaminazioni.<\/p>\n

Una raccolta di documenti sonori che raccontano la presenza in Italia di storiche e, pi\u00f9 o meno, recenti culture migranti.<\/p>\n

\u201cUna canzone\u00a0di tanti anni fa, \u201cRoma forestiera\u201d, lamentava che non c\u2019era pi\u00f9\u00a0musica nelle strade e nei rioni delle citt\u00e0 italiane. Adesso sono proprio\u00a0i \u201cforestieri\u201d a riportare la musica nelle strade.\u00a0La musica popolare della nuova Italia multiculturale \u00e8 anche somala,\u00a0nigeriana, bengalese, kurda, senegalese, romena, indiana, filippina\u2026 ed \u00e8 musica di orgoglio, memoria, resistenza, come \u00e8 da sempre la\u00a0musica popolare in Italia<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leading the meeting will be Cyrus De Rosa<\/strong>, editor in chief of Blogfoolk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the evening at 21.30<\/strong>, in the\u2019Prince's Garden Summer Arena<\/strong>, Enzo Avitabile and the Bottari<\/strong> \u00a0presenteranno la produzione \u201cInfinite lot<\/strong>\u201d. L\u2019album e lo spettacolo sono un affresco sonoro, accorato e sofferto, sulle periferie, quelle situate a nord di Napoli come quelle di tutto il mondo, ma anche sulle terre promesse di cui Lampedusa \u00e8 il simbolo per i migranti. L\u2019artista di Marianella, 2017 David di Donatello award for best soundtrack and best song<\/strong> del film \u201cIndivisibili\u00bb di De Angelis, con il suo progetto musicale offrir\u00e0 un racconto corale sulla vita di tutti i giorni, sul mondo che ci circonda, sulle esistenze sofferte degli ultimi, siano essi immigrati, diseredati, emarginati, spaziando tra temi sociali forti come la disoccupazione, l\u2019immigrazione e il degrado non solo delle periferie, ma anche morale e spirituale. A fare da contraltare a queste tematiche, in ogni brano emerge ora l\u2019empatia e la comprensione dell\u2019autore, ora una vibrazione positiva che diventa seme di speranza per un futuro migliore.<\/p>\n

During the evening, the Cultural Reality Award 2017<\/strong> awarded this year to Blogfoolk <\/strong>con la seguente motivazione: \u201cA project that combines a deep curiosity with an equally deep knowledge of popular music and beyond. Blogfoolk's horizons have transcended the simple format of the blog to embody a true, meticulous, passionate, cultural newspaper. In the hands of its founder, Salvatore Esposito, and editor Ciro De Rosa, this project has traversed ever wider areas, restoring even in Italy to the word folk its necessary third dimension<\/em>\u201d. <\/em><\/p>\n

Receiving the award will be the editorial director Salvatore Esposito <\/strong>and the director in charge Cyrus De Rosa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
